"Young Master, the Madam wants to have a conversation with you." An old looking butler said.

"Sebastian, you know full well that I do not like it when my work gets interrupted," the young boy spoke, his expression not matching his age.

"I understand young master, I will inform Madam to wait until you have finished. " Sebastian spoke.

After the door was closed shut, the boy went back to completing his work. An hour later there was another knock on the door, once again the boy put down what he was working on and looked up at the door waiting to see who it was this time.

"Little master Mu, come out for dinner right now or I will forcefully shut the power down." A feminine voice threatened.

"Ms. Alexia Mu I would appreciate it if you can leave me alone for a few more hours. I am nearly done," Leo, the young boy, said, not at all amused.

Knowing full well that his mother always kept her words Leo bought some time for himself to save the data he was working on.

"I will count down to 3 and if your door is not opened by then I will forcefully shut down the power and you will be prohibited from getting near any data sent by the technical team. 3... 2..." Before she could count to 1 the door flew open revealing a boy about the age of 6 or 7.

"Ms. Alexia Mu, why do you always interrupt me when I am working on an important project?" The boy asked, his words mature but his high pitched voice came out emotionless.

"Listen here, are you the parent or am I? I am the one who is supposed to raise you, not the other way around, don't get that mixed up. Now hurry up and get your ass in the dining room and eat." Alexia demanded.

"Mother, is there a reason as to why I can't raise you?" he retorted.

Speechless, Alexia had no other come back for her son.

"Young master... I think what the madam is trying to say is that she would like you to have the opportunity to grow up as a normal child. From the perspective of an adult it is not normal for a child to be raising their parents." Sebastian spoke, injecting himself into the conversation.

"Right, that is what I mean!" Alexia yelled, enthusiastically agreeing to Sebastian.

"I don't see why you want me to be like other kids, usually parents want their children to be independent." Leo added.

"But parents want their kids to be independent when they are adults, you on the other hand is still a minor who needs the approval of their parents." Alexis retorted.

"Alright, we both clearly want things to go our way. But you know me and me knowing you neither of us will give in to the other, so let us do this mother..." Leo spoke, explaining his plans to his mother slowly.

"So basically you want the weekends to work and on the weekdays you'll be an ordinary boy," Alexia summarized.

"I never said that, what I said was I want the weekdays to do what I want and then on the weekends I will do what you want." Leo said, correcting her.

"little boy you better take it or leave it, I will not change my mind." Alexia firmly declared.

"Hey you OLD HAG! Why won't you let me do what I want?! Other kid's parents let them do what they want, why can't you?!" Leo yelled, finally exploding.

Shocked at the name calling Alexia was speechless, in all the entirety of his life Leo had never once resorted to name calling.

"Young master, maybe you should calm down..." Sebastian suggested, trying to nullify the situation.

"I am as calm as ever, my mother on the other hand should go and clear her mind!" Leo said, through gritted teeth.

Knowing full well that her son was completely angered Alexia backed off but not before saying this, "I'll let you do what you want but you should also know that as your mother I do not like seeing you throw away your childhood for something you can do throughout your entirety of adulthood."

After calming himself down Leo gave up on working and went looking for his mother. After searching for a while he finally found her in the old library that was often used by his father. As a child who grew up admiring his father he was often taught to cherish women, so his urge for not wanting his mother to work was reasonable.

"Mom..." he called in a soft voice.

Not hearing an answer Leo continued to speak, "The reason I do not want you to work is because I don't want you to become like dad... what if you also leave me someday because you overworked yourself?"

Hearing his reason, Alexia was shocked. His father, her husband, got into a wreck one night driving home while exhausted from work, although he was not dead he was in a state of coma for nearly 2 years. Knowing that this was a traumatizing event for her son she finally understood why he had wanted to take up half of her work.

"Leo, honey look at me. I am your mother, and I promise you I know my limits," Alexia said, trying to comfort her son.

"But I want to help..." Leo muttered, below his breath.

Hearing him she said, "I know that you want to help me, and you have all the time in the world to do that once you are older. The reason why your father did what he did was to be able to provide for his family. I, as his wife, am taking up his responsibilities because I want to lessen his burden once he wakes up."

Once the mother and son had a heart to heart conversation they came to an understanding of where they stood. Coming to a conclusion they both decided that it would be best if they kept things the way they were, that way they would not need to argue with each other.
