"Ah, so you're saying that you're going to arrange me a marriage with someone who I don't even know yet?" My voice echoed through the four corners of the room while staring at my parents, silently eating their dinner as if they did not just said something that irritates me.

"Are you guys that too desperate for me to marry someone else?" With a mixed of annoyance.

"We're doing this for your own good—"
"Well, that's bullshit because in the first place, y'all are doing this for your own good. Not for me. I know what's good for me and marrying some stranger who I don't even know what kind of Judas they are is not good for me. I'm too young! Let me enjoy my life!"
"You're already twenty four, Y/n! You're already at the right age of marriage! And watch your mouth young lady. I do not allowed any person from this House to use course language!"
"Yeah, and what's with that if I'm already twenty four? Marriage can come when I already want it, but what if I don't? Then I don't want it. I can marry someone even if I am in thirty! Marriage is ageless! There's no age limit for that!" Then laughed sarcastically. "Oh, yeah, I remember. Y'all are doing this just for the company. How selfish are you? I don't even want that company in the first place. Mom, Dad, I want to be a psychologist! I want to help people suffering from their mental health!"

And left the dining room without uttering more words than I said before. Those are already enough. I'm already frustrated to even say anything more.

Morning comes and it's my time to get my lazy ass up to attend my first class in the morning. I went back studying after graduating from my first course, journalism at the age of twenty two after deciding that I want to help people from their mental health. So, I took psychologist even though my parents doesn't want it.

"Oh, yeah, Wonwoo." I looked back. "Have you bring the materials?" He nodded at my question.

I smiled. "Good."

"I hope the others bring the things they're assigned to bring," I muttered underneath my breath.

While I was busy writing down some notes for later, my phone beeped.

Mom:
Dad wants to have dinner with you later at evening here's the location. [Insert]

Is this is their way on how they would apologize? Asking me to eat dinner with them in a five star hotel? The fuck?

"Hey, you okay?" Wonwoo asked besides me. Oh, have I already told you before that Wonwoo is my childhood friend? Yeah, no? Okay, now you know.

"Not really.. I don't know.. me and my parents argue last night while having dinner." Wonwoo nodded with that.

"I see.. so what happened now? Did you guys made up?" he questioned out, but I just shook my head.

"But they're asking me to have dinner with them later.."
"Maybe it's their way of saying sorry? Go have dinner with them."

Sighing, I nodded my head without saying any more words.

***

I only wore a simple dress for tonight since it's just mom and dad. Additionally, it's just dinner. I told our driver where to drop me off before hopping our of the car as soon I arrived.

I stalked my way inside and one of the staffs there guided me to where my parents are. To my surprise, the dinner I thought where it's the only three of us turns out to be a dinner of six of us.

Slowly approaching them from behind, I got the perfect view of who's the other guest.

Wonwoo?

As if he heard my thought, his eyes landed on my direction but he seems calm. Like he's expecting me to join them. What's going on?

"Oh, you're already here, Y/n. Have a seat will you? Meet the parents of your fiance."

END OF REQUEST

A/N: Hello! I hope y'all enjoyed it! I want it to be a cliffhanger so it's kinda thrilling that way. Stay safe!
