CHAPTER FIVE ━ The Argument (episode 3 ; The Pollywog)

CHEER PRACTICE HAD JUST ENDED WHEN the basketball team came into the gym, half the team shirtless the other half with shirts, sadly Billy was on the shirtless team. Annalise rolled her eyes, looking over at Billy who as also looking at her, he just wouldn't give in.
Melanie pulled Annalise towards the bleachers next to where Kira was once silently watching her friends cheer. "You guys were great!" Kira complimented, her gaze now on the two.
"Thank you Kiki, you know it would be great if you joined us!" Kira gave her friend a look of disgust, shaking her head no. "Oh, come on!"
Annalise soon drown out the conversation her friends were having and started to play attention to the basketball team. It was sad to see Billy not just trying but infact stealing the rest of King Steve's popularity in a blink of an eye.
The humiliation Steve was obviously feeling amused Annalise while she just sat back and watched. While she did feel some remorse for the Harrington, it was funny to see her frenemie getting his ass kicked.
Her amusement soon dialed down when Nancy walked into the gym with a serious face and tone as she called her boyfriend's name.
Steve immediatly left his team to get beat by Billy so he could talk to Nancy. A feeling of worrie washed over Annalise when the couple disappeared outside, while Steve did become a better person over the last few months, Annalise would never forget the way the Harrington boy and his friends treated Nancy.
She wanted to run after the two and listen in on their conversation so bad but she knew it wasn't the right think to do.
"Hey Annalise!" A familiar voice said in a happy tone from Annalise's left. She turned her head to the source to see none other than Adelaide Munson waving at the Sinclair. "Hey Addy, how've you been?" She asked trying to spark up a conversation with her friend.
"Good, I've been good!" She said, her tone changing inbetween goods.
"Quick question, what happend between Nancy and Steve?" Adeliade asked cuttibg their conversation short, Annalise sighed. The lovers' quarrel between past king and queen of Hawkins High had speard like wild fire, through-out the day Annalise had heard multiple different and wrong stories of what happend between the two, she was tired of people asking her since most saw her go up stairs not long after they did.
