CHAPTER TWO ━ Arcade (episode one ; MADMAX)
✩°☁⁎
WHEN LUCAS DIDN'T SHOW UPAT 2:35 Annalise wanted to leave him, but then she remembered her mom saying that if she continued to leave Lucas behind to get dropped off by one of his friends Annalise would be grounded once again, so she tried to think of all the possible places Lucas goes to after school.
"Ugh, I know where he is." She said to herself, rolling her eyes.
Annalise absolutely loved the arcade, it was her childhood. After her mom and dad would go to sleep back when she was in middle school and freshman year, she would sometimes sneak out and play arcade games, sometimes Lucas would come with her. After arguments with her mom, if Annalise were to storm out and drive somewhere that somewhere would be the arcade, she might've loved the arcade a little too much
Annalise pulled up in the parking lot of the Arcade, pushing her gear stick forward to put her car in park.
Annalise had noticed Lucas and Dustin sitting outside of the arcade on a bench looking as if they were in awe of something or someone.
She closed the door of her car and walked over to the duo, "Hey boys." She said waving, her car keys jingling in her hand. "I thought I told you to leave me?" Lucas asked raising his eyebrow "You did, but mom would've been pissed if I did leave you." Annalise rolled her eyes.
She looked up and immediately noticed a familiar redhead playing dig dug, one of the boy's favorite arcade games. "Is that - Hargrove's little sister?" Annalise squinted, raising her eyebrow.
"Who?" Dustin questioned, "The newest asshole at Hawkins High." Dustin laughed. Annalise looked down at the boys, noticing her little brother holding binoculars, she then looked back up.
She looked confused for a while until it clicked "Are you two spying on redhead?" She asked a smirk appearing on her face.
"What? No! We wouldn't do that!" Lucas tried to cover for him and his friend but Dustin on the other hand gave in immediately. "Dustin!" Lucas punched the Henderson in the shoulder
"What? It's Annalise, it's not like she's gonna tell Max."
Max, That's a pretty name
Annalise thought, she looked up one more time to see Max about to step away from dig dug.
