It's Y/N's birthday today, she wasn't expecting anything special about this day since she has always experienced the same old birthday time and time again.

A few gifts, another cake, a huge draining birthday party with people.

But growing up and away from her own home she decided that she didn't want to celebrate such a boring typical birthday, she'd actually rather not celebrate it at all, which was what she decided to do on such a special day.

Y/N starts off her day with the usual again, wake up, eat brunch, shower, do some work, those type of things. She never really wanted excitement in her life cause it seemed too tiring to deal with such emotions and somewhat unnecessary ideas.

As she goes about her day typing the last few paragraphs to finish and send in a report, she hears someone ring her doorbell.

~BZZZZZ, BZZZZZ~

Y/N slowly walks up to the door nervously knowing it's her birthday and she didn't want to deal with any surprises today. She turns the doorknob and peeks through the door to see.. Micah Yujin, her boyfriend from across the country that she met through a hacking tournament.

"MICAH?" she asks in surprise, "What are you doing here?"

He chuckles for a minute and replies, "It's your birthday, angel. Of course I'd take the effort to do a little traveling for you~"

You chuckle back in reply and motion him to come in to your apartment. You realize that he's carrying a large wrapped box. You wonder what's inside but also hold back because you have work to do.

"Micah I appreciate the lengths you went to celebrate my birthday but I'm-" Micah shushes you and puts a finger on your lips.

He says in a rush before you could say anything "Ah- ah- ah!! Before you continue I forged an excuse letter to your boss and I also hacked into your workspace and finished the rest of your work except for the report you were doing. You can thank me later angel~"

You stand in shock (in a good way) as your boyfriend shows a wide smile to what he's done.

"So, what now?" you ask confused.

"'What now?' Well I have a few things I prepared for you today! And don't worry, I know you hate big parties and fancy stuff so I prepared a little thingy just for you and me angel!" he says so excitingly.

You smile in awe, "I'll leave you to it!"

He leads you to his car as you find a small evvelope on the passenger seat, you take it, Micah looks at you excitedly as you open the envelope to a letter with printed screenshots of you from old calls with him and a sweet wholesome little letter just for you and about how much you meant to him.

As soon as you're done reading the sweet note he gave you, Micah parks at a spot near an Italian restaurant you talked about in a call before. He opens the door for you and you both are greeted with the waiter as they lead you and Micah to the rooftop view with a little candlelit table and pasta served hot already on the table.

"After you, angel." He says as he pulls out the chair for you to sit on.

You sit down and start talking with him, it was a nice view and such a great dinner.

You start talking about video games and Micah Yujin starts hyperfixating over this Sonic Fandub he watched in 2019, "OKAY BUT LIKE SONIC GOES 'AHAHAHA ONE!' AND THE FWOOSHES OFF THE SCENE LIKE LMAOO AND THEN-" as he tells the fandub plot he accidentally trips over the candle that was standing inbetween him from flailing his arms around.

You panic in your seat and quickly stand up avoiding the fire as he tries to blow it out. "NO, NO!! STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!! I'M GONNA PUT THE FIRE OUT MY LOVE!-" he says as he grabs the whole table cloth and throws it over the balcony.

"Okay lets go before they charge us for that." He grabs your hand and quickly exits from the Italian restaurant.

"ahahalllriGHT! SoOo, we still have 2 more stops to go to angel!" he says to hilariously ignore the fact he set a table on fire.

You act along with this dumbass not knowing if we're gonna set a building on fire next. "Alright! You know I'm always up for adventure!"

He drives you to the next place which is a local arcade downtown you've never visited. He was excited to share the idea of playing non-PC games with you, he wanted to enjoy gaming with you while he was outside breathing oxygen and touching grass.

You both find yourself inside looking for games to play, and you both set your eyes on the most ultimate game of all..

Dance Dance Revolution

"..I'll beat you to it?" I ask.
"In your dreams angel~" he replies. "Buuuut! If I win, I get a kiss from the birthday girl, if I lose, I'll do whatever you ask me to." he adds.
"Fine with me, now lets dance!" you reply as you both call dibs on which side you'll be playing on.

You both pant, tired after doing 3 rounds of DDR. "SO! Who won?" you ask, hoping that you could have won 3 favors from Micah. He looks at the score boards and... he wins. Haha, oooohhh fuck.

"So it seems I have won angel~" he grins at you so smuggingly it BURNS. "So how about those 3 kisses you owe me angel? Hmm?~" he leans towards you, cheek facing you for a kiss.

"..Y'know, for a person who doesn't go outside much, you sure are fit for this." you reply.

"HEY!" he turns to you. "THAT HURT!-" you cut him off by giving him a peck on the lips.

"What?"

"DO THAT AGAIN!!" he jumps happily yelling at you to kiss him like that again.

Flushed, you turn your gaze somewhere else "I won't do it again." teasingly.

"AWW COME ON?? PLEAAAAAAASE?" he begs on his knees for you in the middle of the arcade.

"Fine." you reply, bending down giving him 3 quick pecks on the lips.

"Aww, I didn't savour it cause it was too quick.." he pouts at you, with his large puppy eyes.

"Too bad, aha!" you laugh at him as he still is jokingly upset about the kiss being short and quick.

"Anyway, let's grab some popcorn and go to the final destination!" he says as he pulls you by the wrist and quickly getting you into the car excitedly.

During the car ride you've wondered what the next destination will be after the fancy candlelit restaurant and then the awesome DDR experience with Micah Yujin himself, Y/N was so excited to think about the last detination she didn't even notice the car parked already outside another building.

It was a trampoline park that's also next to an indoor children's playground. It was one of the heavenliest things you could possibly imagine. Y/N had a thing for being extrenely childish sometimes because she never grew up in a home that treated her like one, so it was a dream to go to such a place.
