Y/N's graduated fresh from highschool ready to move into college and leave her old life behind for a new one, she's taking a risk for going to a college states away from her hometown. But she knows she's very ready to take it.

After a month of preparing for the first week of college, she hitches a ride with her friend F/N on her way to the airport.

"I'm so glad you've been accepted Y/N!" they hug me into an embrace. "Thank you so much for the ride and everything! I'm about to tear up because it's my first time going away from youuuu.." Y/N pouts at them cause they grew up together and was really sad that they were gonna be seperated together.

"It's fine Y/N, just don't leave me for some hot guy on campus please, you're all I got right now."

"Of course not! You think I'd put you away for some.. GUY?-"

- timeskip to when they finally go to college -

".. Oh no he's hot." Y/N quietly gasps at her roommate down the living room.

F/N gets on their knees "Y/N DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME ALONE PLEASE WHO AM I GONNA DRINK STARBUCKS WITH??"

"Calm down you baby, I won't leave my best friend for.. him... cause he... looks like a dork..?" you try coming up with an excuse to pretend you werent just drooling over them 10 seconds ago.

"BUT YOU LIKE DORKS?" F/N shakes you aggressively and slaps you left and right.

The roommate gives you a glance across the room and gives you a small smile and a chuckle.

You look at him.. He looks at you.. You both make eye contact and F/N looks back and forth at both of you.

"YOU!" they point at your roommate.

They let go of you and walk up to the figure across the room, "What's your name wonderboy?" F/N crosses their arms,

"Micah Yujin, your Majesty. Who's that angel of a friend you have over there?" he points at you.

F/N answers "Well wouldn't you like to know wonderboy? Y/N GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE"

You stand still embarassed but Micah walks up to you instead,

"Y/N huh? What a pretty name angel, I could tell we may get along." he leans slightly into me, not too close, but not too far.

"Well I hope you guys do, cause once you're dating my friend here you'll needa watch out if you.. EVER. try to lay your HANDS ON MY-"

"Calm down F/N, sorry about them Micah, it's probably the caffeine she got from Starbies. I look forward to getting to know you too." you cut her off.

Micah smiles at you and your friend and walks away to his room.

"Okay maybe I got a little overprotective but ya'll lowkey look good together" F/N grins, nudging you from the side.

"Ugh shut up F/N" you chuckle at her.
