She swiftly put on her long coat- she wore an outfit of elegance. This consisted of a top overlaid with a milk chocolate brown pleaded skirt and tied of with a corset which where banded with such grace that it seemed to have wheeled butterflies. She left her homely abode and set of into the city of Mondstadt, the city of freedom.
As she slowly walked away quickening her pace here and there, she decided to go meet new people at the well known tavern- Angel's share. Soon later she had abruptly stopped to see the ever so familiar sign of the tavern. Walking in she hesitated.
'No y/n you've made it this far, you can't stop now- besides it's your birthday, don't hold yourself back!' her thoughts came flooding in. Huffing, she opened the door and took in her new surroundings.
Comfortable. Where the only words that came to mind. It reminded her of home. Lightly lit leaving it quite dim which only made it ever so more relaxing, if it weren't for the people she would have fallen asleep. Looking around some more she studied the people.
'Hmm.. which most appeals my eye..- WAIT NO! Its not about the looks I shall judge by first impressions whether they were worthy of my friendship- NO NO! I sound all high, I shall walk around and see who peaks my interest.' she thought
She walked around quite alarmed at how much people had to drink.
''Do you drink wine? Dandelion wine has a unique body to it. Oh, you're underage? You should try apple cider vinegar. I know just the place.'' A sudden voice appeared.
''I am not underaged.'' Y/n stammered quite baffled at the sound of the airy voice. Soon realising how mean she sounded she tried to redeem herself from her rude manner
''I mean!! I would like some grape juice instead.'' she said obviously nervous.
''I can't believe that some people actually drink grape juice... if they had a little more patience, they would find that it ferments into the most exquisite wine. Hmph. So unromantic.'' He replied with.
''Oh I see- I shall be ready to try the apple cider vinegar you speak of '' she hesitantly smiled regretting this conversation already. Who knowns, new friend?
''Care for a walk? I know quite a good shop to sell them. '' He replied smoothly. She nodded excitedly. She was making progress!
''Kaeya, Knights of Favonius. Your name if you may?" He exceeded
''Y/n.. y/n of.. Y/n L/n'' Her introduction didn't sound as cool as his but she seemed to not have cared. The only care in this world was the icy blue eyes staring down at her. His cerulean hair in a loose ponytail that laid down his shoulder. His eyepatch covering one eye mysteriously. Gosh- he was gorgeous.
He nodded in approval before questioning, ''So Ms l/n... what brings you to Angles share?'' she stared at him confusingly. Wasn't it normal to go to a tavern during the holidays?
''Ah- i mean. Why where you just walking around a tavern?'' Now that he questions she soon realised how peculiar it must have looked as she mindlessly spectated people without a care in the world.
''Oh it's my birthday and I promised myself not to celebrate it alone so I went to the tavern to see if I could make any new friends.'' Coming out from her mouth it sounded quite perplexing.
''Your birthday you say? Happy birthday, we should head back down to the tavern and try the juice another day. There's cakes there so why don't we celebrate together also marking our new friendship if that's okay with you?'' He smirked.
The girl felt the heat rise up to he cheeks before thoughts screamed inside 'I MADE A FRIEND WHAT?1?!' Calm and collected she nodded before doing a full 360 with Kaeya back down to Angel's share.
