Have you ever read one of those books where the someone falls in love too fast? Well I've fallen in love with a demo I've heard of Folie a Deux too fast. It was the beginning of November and we were now in Nevada, we were walking around Las Vegas trying not be recognised. We had no show tonight so we were booked in some fancy hotel rather than sleeping in bunks tonight. Folie a Deux was finished so was Ignorance. Folie isn't being released until December but Ignorance is being released this month on November 20th I guess. They moved the date around a lot so it was finalized last night.
"Don't you love how it's not too warm in Vegas in November." Brendon says as we walk down the streets in silence.
"I love warm weather, not this crap." Lauri whines as Marty keeps a firm grip around her waist, glaring at all the men who walk past us, he was so protective. I don't like protective boyfriends, I've had a few, it just feels like you are suffocating under this heavy weight on your shoulders. You can't talk to the opposite sex, you can't leave their sight without telling them where you are. I'm sure Marty isn't that extreme but it's no fun having a protective boyfriend.
"Excuse me but Vegas is better than LA, you guys are just jealous." Brendon puts a hand on his hip glaring at us five people from LA.
"Listen here Brandon, LA is the City of Angels, like me. LA is a thousand times better than Vegas, LA is where everything happens." Lauri rolls her eyes, she loves LA and will protect it with her life, I'd like to say I'm being dramatic but I'm not.
"We are all outnumbered by the born and raised LAliens." Brendon squeals before skipping ahead with Jon and Spencer.
"Actually our Violet was born in Illinois." Andy chimes in wrapping his arm around my shoulder squeezing it slightly.
"You're from Illinois?" Patrick grins jogging up
"I moved when I was young but yeah I guess." I shrug, it was no big deal.
"Where abouts?"
"Elmhurst." I smile whilst tugging on the ends of my sleeves, a nasty habit I got in middle school it stretches all my clothes.
"Woah that's close to where I used to live." He beams, we talk about memories from Illinois. I used to visit a lot until my grandparents died, I have another set but they live in Arizona.
"So I say we got to a club." Marty buts into everyone's conversations.
"Is that all you think about?" Riley rolls her eyes, picking at her chipped nail polish. Lauri and I have always been closest between us three but Riley was always an easier one to go to. I've no Lauri since I was born but we met Marty and Riley in first grade, we met Harley in Kindergarten. Us five has been inseparable since.
"No I also think about Fifa and Lauri and my guitar." Marty gives her a smug smile before wrapping his arm around Lauri again. Lauri and Marty started dating in about eighth grade, Harley, Riley and I thought it would never last. They had a weird friendship, always bickering and saying they hated each other but in the end they just said they were together after a weekend of being alone. Riley and Harley took me to some cabin for the weekend but Marty and Lauri didn't want to go. We came back and boom they were this lovey dovey couple.
"Any good clubs around her RyRy." Joe asks Ryan.
"There is many clubs, filled with drug dealing and gangs so if you want to go then sure."
"Sounds fun, right Pete?" Jon calls back to Pete who has been sulking for a few days and everyone seems to know why but me. We've all tried talking to him but he's gave us all blunt answers.
"Yeah whatever." He sighs before staring back down at the floor, kicking stones as he walks. I slow down my pace, so I'm walking with him.
"You know that 'Trick is really worried about you? I mean we all are." I say to him, he keeps his gaze fixed on the floor.
