It was normally the opposite, they were usually wrong whenever they guessed something. However, annoyingly every time they'd even suggested something stupid about the new gang they had unknowingly been correct. The were right about the number, the power, the influence, the boldness, the amount of product, and the willingness to do whatever it took to destroy anyone in their way. The current name for the new gang was the symbol gang because no one actually knew they're real name which meant the symbol was the first and most recent bit of information linked to them. I'm sure at some point everyone will find out the symbol gang's operation didn't just span across the town and the country, it actually reached much further. It was mainly Europe and Central American based but had also spread to a few other continents as well i.e Asia and Africa. It was definitely bigger than Milo's gang and honestly they were kidding themselves if they thought they had any chance of beating them. However, if you knew anything about Milo it was that he didn't give up too easily. At one point Milo and his friends had been like the symbol gang, if not a little more tame, but after making too many mistakes they tried to look for better ways of handling things. A sort of evolution if you will. Maybe they'll have to return to their primal instincts though, revert back to what they were like at the start if they're ever going to get an ending. There wasn't going to be a better way out of this mess. At least that's what Milo was busy thinking about whilst someone was trying to talk to him.

"Mr Bellamy" said the judge, raising his voice slightly. "Are you even listening?"

"Yes, sorry... do continue" replied Milo, smiling. After being released from prison, most people were still a bit hesitant to even acknowledge Milo's existence. However, most of the people involved with his case at some point were being made to apologise whether they meant it or not. I mean, as far as they should be concerned, Milo was wrongfully put in prison.

"As I was saying, we owe you an apology" said the judge. "You were wrongly accused of crimes you did not commit and were incarcerated because of our mistake. Will you accept our most sincere apology?"

"On one condition" replied Milo, smirking. "I did lose over a month of my life because of this."

"Alright, proceed" said the judge, rolling his eyes. "What is your condition?"

"You tell me where you got that curly little wig from" replied Milo, pointing at the one the judge had on his head. "I've just always wanted one."

"I do not actually have to apologise to you Mr Bellamy, I just thought it a common courtesy considering what you may have endured" said the judge, trying his best to assert dominance. "Accept it or simply leave."

"Alright fine, I'll accept it" replied Milo, sighing. "You're no fun, you know that."

"Yes, I've been informed many a time" said the judge.

"I don't doubt it... anyway, this was sort of entertaining" replied Milo, waving lazily as he walked away from the podium and left the room. "I'll be seeing you."

"What an intriguing young man" said the judge once Milo had fully gone, wondering if he would in fact ever see him again.

After Milo had left, he went back to the safe house and met up with his friends. They were all already there waiting for him and setting something up for him whilst he'd been out. It was part of the reason none of them had gone with him to the courthouse. The other part of the reason being Milo felt like he needed to do this on his own because it was him receiving an apology and not them. Milo twisted the key in the lock and walked through the front door into darkness initially. However, seconds later the lights turned on and people were bombarding him with 'congratulations' and 'welcome homes'. Obviously this wasn't the first time Milo had been back here since getting out of prison but up until this point the others hadn't had time to organise anything. There was decorations everywhere. Confetti covering the floor, bunting hanging from every doorway, streamers draped over the bannister, and a large banner over the fireplace that read 'the great escape could never'. To be fair though, what Milo did was a lot simpler than what those characters did in that movie. He was either smarter than them or he somehow didn't have as bad as a situation as them. As Milo watched his friends smiling and laughing with their drinks held up in the air, all Milo could really think about was who was going to be cleaning all of this up once the party was over.
