Part 38: Cinema

No one ever found out what Milo did to get Diego out of prison. Obviously they asked multiple times and tried to figure it out on their own a couple of times but nothing had ever become clear. Whatever it was Milo had done, it only took a few days. Ever since retrieving the file from the records room Milo had gone over it about a thousand times. There was loads of reasons for this but the main one was that Milo simply found it insane how easily he was thinking of ways of getting Diego out. I guess after everything they'd gone through, coming up with ways of getting people out of things sort of came naturally to Milo now. It shouldn't be surprising really. So there they all were, standing outside the prison just like they had previously for Milo and waiting for someone most of them had never even seen let alone met. Cassie, Danny and Ani all fully trusted Milo though which meant they knew they could trust Diego as well. There was still going to be short period of time where they got used to him being around but then again it might not be that hard considering where Danny had started in their friendship group. Talk about history repeating itself. Not only was Ani talking to someone new that was most likely going to learn everything at some point if they stuck around but now Milo might have someone that was an outsider but will one day be an integral part of the group. Overall though no one could compare to Danny, he'd always been the original weird guy that just sort of approached them one day and then never left. Milo was excited but he was definitely nervous as well. He hadn't seen Diego since he'd been released and now all of a sudden Diego was coming to him. It was going to be a huge adjustment but the more Milo thought about it, the more excited he became. The nerves and anxiety though, they probably going to be sticking around for a while as well. They all carried on watching as a normal sized door in the bottom left corner of a bigger gate opened and couple guards walked out. At first Milo was expecting them to say something had gone wrong and Diego actually wasn't being released today but a few seconds later there he was in all his glory. Milo's throat went dry whilst his hands became sweaty, his face turned in a massive smile when he was really doing his best to stop it from reacting too much, and he might have actually developed a heart murmur in that very moment. Well, if he didn't have one already that was.

"Oh my god" whispered both Ani and Cassie when they saw Diego, Cassie biting her lip.

"Seriously?" Whispered Danny as well, furrowing his eyebrows at the others.

"Guys keep your intrusive thoughts to yourself please" said Milo, still smiling. "He's coming over."

"Sorry" replied everyone else as they watched Diego walk over in what seemed like slow motion.

"Hey" said Milo as soon as Diego was stood directly in front of him.

"Hey" replied Diego, smiling now as well and readjusting the bag that was thrown over one of his shoulders.

"You look nice" said Milo, swallowing hard. "The outside world suits you."

"Really? Well I guess I can only go up from here considering I've only been out for about 30 seconds" replied Diego, looking down at himself quickly and then back to Milo. "You look good too."

"Thanks" said Milo, jumping slightly and remembering they weren't alone when someone behind him cleared their throat. "Oh right, Diego this is Cassie and Danny and Ani. The closest thing I have to family."

"It's a pleasure to finally meet all of you" replied Diego, extending his hand so everyone could shake it. "Milo spoke a lot about you."

"Oh really?" Said Cassie, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Don't make it weird" replied Ani, nudging Cassie gently.

"Anyway... guys, I'd like you to meet Diego. My right ha-" said Milo but he was interupted by Diego part way through.
