"... Damn Sachi, you beg me to pull up and cuss me out all weekend just to greet a nigga like dis'?" Rod antagonized her with a disgusting look of amusement on his face,"I finally come over and you got me wantin' to leave already."

"I never begged you to do anything, Rod. I do remember askin' you nicely to stop randomly showin' up to house though."

He sucked his teeth in response, looking around the exterior of her apartment complex in disgust while following her and Halo up the staircase to her door. "Shit, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't fa' Halo. Surprised you still stayin' in these raggedy ass apartments Sachi, guess dat' money from da' Pank ain't makin' shit shake but yo' ass huh?"

Sachi exhaled in exasperation and bit down on her bottom lip to contain her composure; she had to remember Halo was still in their presence and unlike Rodrick she actually cared about the things Halo heard her say.

"Halo go put your stuff in your room," She said with another soft sigh as she and Halo crossed the threshold to their front door and walked into their humble abode. As Rod quietly invited himself into her kitchen, Sachi locked the door behind them and joined him inside.

"You have fun wit'cha girlfriend dis' weekend?" She asked him, sitting her purse and bouquet of roses from Roman down on her countertop next to her sink. Sitting at the bar, Rodrick rested his elbows on the counter and chuckled,"Shit Sachi, you sound a lil' jealous to me."

"Boy please," She scoffed at him as he found amusement in his own arrogance that was allowing him to think she was really upset that he had moved on. "I'm happy you got somebody new for da' third time dis' month, I just don't want you puttin' our child on da' back burner fa' her or anybody else fa' dat' matter."

He kept quiet with nothing to say, which wasn't shocking or anything out of the norm for Rodrick. You could always count on him to talk the most shit about Sachi in an attempt to break her down but whenever she brought up how he treats their baby, it's crickets.

While washing and rinsing her hands off Sachi continued,"She was excited about bein' wit'chu dis' weekend Rod. Da' least you could've did was let me know you wanted to take yo' girl outta' town fa' da' weekend instead of ignorin' me when it came time for you to be on your way to get her. Dat's fucked up, especially since you ain't got shit to say about it either."

"Look Sachi, da' shit happened last minute aight? She hit me up sayin' her folks wanted to meet a nigga, dis' da' only free weekend they had to see me so I took advantage. Dis' girl ain't just some freak of da' week eitha', I really fuck wit' her Sachi you can't be mad about dat'."

"Rod I'm not mad about you datin' somebody else, I'm mad at da' fact dat' you stay puttin' everybody and everything else before Halo. Like nigga are you seriously dat' important to dat' girl's family dat' dis' was da' one weekend they just had ta' meet'chu? Be fuckin' forreal."

Realizing he couldn't get over on her with that bullshit lie, Rod sighed heavily and broke eye contact with her. "Fuckin' shame," Sachi muttered with a harsh scoff while angrily snipping the ends of her roses to place them in her vase. "I guess hell gon' have to freeze over before you finally decide to become a dad. It's been four years almost, you'd think you'd actually give a damn by now."

"Look, Sachi, I'm sorry - aight? Damn. Dat's what you wanted to hear me say? You got it." He told her before "apologizing" again. "My fault."
