Where are we going? To the future!

I know I live in the future but that was my present. And on my way out I didn't exactly marvel at the sights. My bubble wasn't clear it was colorful ok so it was both. Wow. Also I had never remembered there being a coming to the future song playing when entering but then again I'd never left and come back this was my first time running away from home and if the way things were going now it wouldn't be the last.

It was just as I remembered it. After all I'd only been gone for a year. People traveling by bubble tubes that took people places houses that fold up and set themselves up. I don't believe it. Lewis said. It's pretty amazing huh? I asked him. Yeah why would you ever wanna leave this place? Wilbur and I went silent. Well I'll tell you what the truth will set you free my brother. He told Lewis. Why did I ever leave? I wrapped my arms around myself. Is this proof for ya? Wilbur asked Lewis. I never thought time travel was possible at least not in my lifetime. Yeah Farrah you kind of invented it. Wilbur turned to me. Dad can't take credit for this one. Wilbur the concept was always out there I just happened to make a working time machine. I kind of like mine better though. If you wouldn't had run away dad never would've built it to try and find you.

Dad did that for me? His good luck charm and partner in crime. Also your his daughter there isn't anything he wouldn't do for you. Then why did it take so long for someone to find me? I crossed my arms. Well I was grounded for 3 months. And you didn't leave dad blueprints. And even if you did how we were supposed to figure out what year you went to? You may have a point. See right about everything again! I pouted putting my feet on the dashboard. I can't drive if you do that. You're telling me it can't drive itself? You think I intended to go to whatever year I was in? Lewis what year was that we were in? 2007. And what year are we in Wilbur? It's 2037. And you call yourself a scientist? He rolls his eyes.

I frown at hearing him say that. I could really change my life. Lewis said in awe. Anyways enough chit chat. Next stop science fair to fix that memory scanner. Wait I'm not going fix that stupid memory scanner. Lewis said happily as Wilbur came to a stop. What?! Wilbur think about it this is a time machine. Why should I fix our dumb invention when you guys can take me to see my mom right now in this ship? He's got a point. I start messing with the controls. And then I'll take it to go see dad in the past and see if we have anything in common. What?! Wilbur asked again. Listen guys the answer is not a time machine. Also Farrah I thought that's where you ran away too?! Exactly! I got to the past but I didn't see dad. I pout. I messed up again! I wipe my tears away while Lewis places his hand on my shoulder. I wanna know if he failed as a kid too. Instead I found a best friend. I need to figure out what he was like Wilbur I'm not going back home until I do and I'm taking Lewis back to see his mom!

No Farrah Lewis the answer is not the time machine it's this! And Farrah you've always wanted to be like dad sure your inventions haven't worked out yet but they will in time. He handed me my sketchbook. You know what I think of this?! Lewis asked him. He grabbed it and ripped it to shreds. While opened the hatch and tossed the book out the window before closing it back up again. Don't you get it I will never be dad ever! I swiped my hands. You were right Wilbur. I'm terrible at science I'm a failure science is NOT my friend and you have every right to hate me for all my failed attempts of my experiments. I'm taking Lewis to see his mother and then I going back to the past. Do NOT follow me. And why would you want to?

You said you hated me and sure you were grounded for me running away after a fight we got into but you said it yourself I thought you came all this way for me so that maybe we could talk about our fight and you could tell me you were wrong and that you wanted me to come home. Not to protect a person you don't even know from a man we don't even really know the name of or his plans of and then you said they were upset. They Wilbur not YOU! And then you brought me back home kicking and screaming to a place I'm not wanted and no one probably noticed that I was gone. And my twin brother could care less. I can never show dad my inventions they'll never work. I wanted to impress him to show him I could be like him to bond over something we loved. But everything I touch I break. I already broke one time machine every time I touch it it breaks even more. I'm surprised it held together at all the first time.

Farrah do you know how to fly this thing? Lewis asked me. Of course I do dad built it from my design. Lewis Farrah what are you doing? I'm sorry Wilbur but you don't know what I've been through. Lewis no! Let go! They started yelling at each other. You're not the boss of me! Lewis said. Yes I am you're 12 and we're 13. Which makes us older. Well I'm from the past so that makes me older the boss of both of you. Guys hang onto something. I told them. I touched something so now it's gonna fall apart. Well so did Lewis so guess what you two are just like each other.

*Ug* I am so dead. Wilbur said. I'm not even allowed to look at this thing let alone drive it! What?! I asked him. Mom and dad are going to kill me and let me tell you this it will not be done with mercy. Isn't there a time machine repair shop. No because there are only 3 and Farrah took hers to your timeline and crashed it and this one is broken and the other was stolen by the guy with a bowler hat. Well someone has to fix this. Lewis said. Good idea you and my sister are smart she built the first one you can both work on it together! You broke it you fix it. If I fix the time machine you need to take me to see my mom. What you didn't hold your end of the first deal we made! How can I trust you? Well you told me you were time cop from the future how can I trust you? Touché Wilbur thought. So do we have a deal? What? Wilbur just who do you think I am? Fix it Felix? Wilbur I am Wreck it Ralph I break everything I touch. Farrah this is your machine. You made the first one. And look how well that turned out. Well it broke after you got away from here didn't it? And once its fixed you and man's best friend can go flying into the sunset to see his mom and you can see dad for who he truly was in the past. Ok deal.
