Now we work in the garage trying to fix the time machine(s) both dad's and my own. I knew my own like the back of my hand. It was slightly different than my father's other two. Lewis and I were laying on one of those board things that puts under cars so that mechanics can fix them. I don't even know what I'm doing. Lewis said as he kept coming and out from under the broken time machine he was working on while I worked on my own. Just keep moving forward. Wilbur said. I *sigh* at hearing that. I mean this stuff is way to advanced for me. Lewis said. While I *scoffed* Lewis I believe between the two of us there is truly nothing we can't do together. But mine is a little different than my father's. And I don't need a blueprint as I'm the one that invented the very first one.

Keep moving forward. Wilbur announced again. Pushing Lewis back under to keep working on it. I invented them a little over a year ago so that I could find my father as a child and see if he were anything like me as I am now. You mean a great inventor with much to learn? He asked. No Lewis I mean a failure! You're not a failure. My brother told me. Tell that to a year ago me Wil see if she believes you before you tell her you hate her and make her wish she were never born as she breaks everything she touches. And still does. I finish. Everyone else has said how much they miss their precious Farrah. All but the person who should've missed her the most. Her twin brother. But I won't hold my breath he didn't miss her because he hates her. In that moment I wished he would've said it wasn't true that he had just said that because he was mad at me. Mad at me for making him be a guinea pig for one of my inventions that failed yet again.

But it worked enough to give me the results that I needed. It didn't work the way it wa supposed to it worked like a lie detector unable to tell when certain things were the truth or a lie. Hence the orange. He's had his chances. Each time we see each other. When we ran into him looking to get back to the garage and I gave him his imaginary money from me from the bet we made because I knew he'd win. I hadn't lost yet but had I not seen him till he ran into Lewis and I.... I told him how I felt and he brushed me off like I was nothing. I can't tell you how much that stung. But what else had I been expecting? We were close once but he's been a guinea pig to enough failed inventions that he resents me now. Whether he meant it or not. Hey he tapped my foot. Don't give me negative speak. I heard him say. Pulling me out of my thoughts. I don't need a machine to make you be in a giggly mess. Hearing him try and tease me almost made me feel better. But while I was under the machine all I felt was the tears on my face.

But it didn't stop him from trying to encourage us to keep working. I yelped as it's fluids fell on me while I worked. I wasn't watching what I was doing. You ok? He asked me. 'm fine Wilbur. What happened? He teased. None of your business. I growled back him. While he rolled his eyes. What if we can't fix these things what are we gonna do? Lewis asked Wilbur. Keep moving forward. He said again returning his attention back to Lewis once again. Why do you keep saying that? Lewis asked. And don't say keep moving forward! He scolded. I *scoffed* rolling my eyes. You and me both Lewis. It's our dad's moto. Why would his moto be "keep moving forward?" Lewis asked. Excellent question. Wilbur started as he pulled us along to show Lewis how life came to be here in the future or for us our present. How he had the design factory and our dad runs the company which he wants to pass on to Farrah and maybe myself if he saw I had a big enough interest in what he does and what Farrah is into but she's always wanted that when she grows up. To work side by side with our dad. Inventing things.

What has he invented? Lewis asked. Technically everything. What do you mean technically? I asked him. Well as you know dad did invent everything but he wasn't truly successful without you as his inspiration. Like how you invented the first time machine and he made two more to go after you and bring you home. They invented Carl. They? I asked. Yeah your blueprints and your dreams that you had with the notebook you shared with dad all those spitball ideas all the long nights of sleeping under the stars and maybe some other things that consisted of future time travel like how my sister went back to the past and found you instead of our dad. Yeah because my time machine didn't work. I touched something and it broke. Well how do you know it wasn't dad's time if we're in 2037? 30 years from that is 2007 which is the time Lewis is from. Wilbur corrected me. Because I found someone like me not someone like dad. Lewis and I fail at everything we do sorry Lewis no offense I'm hurting myself saying that too.
