Next day I recieve a call
"Hey!" The voice says and I recognise it immediately.
"Hi Walter. How did you get my number?"
"I have my own secret ways. Well I wanted to ask you something."
"What?"
"About dinner. Will you come to have dinner with me today?"
"What's the occassion?"
"Friends going out on a friendly dinner. I don't think there needs to be a reaon. Do you?"
"Nope. OKay. Is 8 in the evening going to be okay?"
"Perfect! I'll pick you up." He says and ends the call.
"I want to know about you Hayel." he says at the dinner table
"What? OKay you ask me questions. I'll answer them. It's always easier that way!"
"Cool. So what's your favourite colour?"
"Black. And blue. next question"
"When's your birthday?"
"8th of June."
"How many boyfriends have you had?"
"None." I say and he chokes on his food and drops his spoon.
"Are you alright?"
"None? You have never had a boyfriend?" he asks me after drinking some water.
"Why is that so hard to belive?" I shift in my seat uncomfortably.
"You are just so pretty and.." But I cut him off. "Not that again."
He gets annoyed at this. "I just don't understand. I don't get it. Why do you lack so much of self confidence?" he shakes his head dissaprovingly.
"I don't. " I say angrily.
"Oh really? Why is that you always become angry when I call you pretty?"
"You don't know anything!" I shout, on the verge of tears.
"That is what I want to know! I want to know everything! Please tell me, Hayel"
"I have been called names through out my life. I have been tesed over and over again just because I am not a size zero . Just because I am fat." I start sobbing and he hugs me.
"I guess you are right. I am a coward. I do lack self confidence. But can you really blame me?" I ak him.
"Hayel. You have to stop listening to people. You have to start believing in yourself." He says while stroking my hair gently.
"I am sorry for being rude."
"You don't have to be. I understand." he says and hugs me even more tightly.
