"I wanted to show them something that wasn't an illusion.."

Amblin Entertainment...

"Something that they could... Touch... And See"

Based Upon the two novels written by Michael Crichton...

Everything is dark. Only a void is on screen.

"Do you know the first attraction I ever built when I first came here from Scotland..?

...It was a flea circus...Petticoat Lane...

It was quite spectacular, spared no expense.

There was a miniature merry-go-round and a wee trapeze and a car-carousel... and a see-saw. They all moved, motorized of course, but people would say they could see the fleas.
"Oh, I can see the fleas, mummy, can't you see the fleas?" Clown fleas and high-wire fleas and fleas on parade. But this place.....

Based Upon the movies by Steven Speilberg, Colin Trevorrow and J.A Bayona...

I wanted to show them something they could see... and touch. Not just devoid of merit."

"Yeah, but you can't think through this one, John. You have to feel it."

"You're right. You're absolutely right. Hiring Nedry was a mistake, that's obvious. We're far too over-dependant on automation. Now next time, everything's correct, everything's perfect. Next time it'll be flawless."

"But still the flea circus, John. It's all an illusion --"

"When we have control --"

"You never had control, that's the illusion! ...
I mean, I was overwhelmed by the power of this place!

But I made a mistake too.
I didn't have enough respect for that power and it's out now.

The only thing that matters now is the people we love. Alan and Lex and Tim; John, they're out there where people are dying. So...

It's good."

"Spared no expense."

The darkness disappears.

A harsh sunrise beats down upon the North American Savannah, casting the ancient realm in not only light, yet a world of Shadows as well. Baobab trees and hills offer shade to those escaping the brightness.

Large, prehistoric locust land on the trunk of a large tree, its wings fluttering loudly—the tree twitches, agitated by the pest. A loud, echoing trumpet escaped from the highest branch of the tree. Then the tree moved, then another tree moved, and another. And another. The locust flew off, frightened. What the locust had failed to realise is that the trunk it had landed on was not a tree, instead- it was a giant sauropod.
Dreadnaughtus.

There wasn't one, there were several of the large creatures, all trumpeting to each other as they wallowed through a swampy land. One bowed its head down, drinking from the water below it. A flock of Pteranodon swiftly flew away. It wasn't the sauropod that caused the panic in the flying beasts, it was a large Quetzalcoatlus swooping in to nest. Much like the Dreadnaughtus, there were several of the creatures, the large beast landed, snapping its beak at smaller pteranodons that were quick to scurry away. The Quetzalcoatlus cawed loudly.

A small herd of Ankylosaurus drank from a nearby riverbank, their front legs submerged in water, their hind legs firm on the sand. Their dangerous, hammer-like tails waved from side to side. One animal removed its head from the water, a low, hippo-like bellow escaping its mouth.

A large canyon had been transformed into the nesting site of pteranodons. One swooped down into the water below, a large splash audible below. A male pterosaur landed on the ledge, cooing at its mate.

A feathered Oviraptors head darted around, staring in all directions. It was making sure the coast was clear, the thief chirped with delight once it bit into one of the eggs it was eating. It pecked away at the egg, hidden by the darkness of the cave it was hidden within.

A large herd of Nasutoceratops were migrating like wildebeest or zebra might. The animals let out low moos and snorts. One mother was guiding her child through the murky river. Water sprayed all over as another ceratopsid snorted, emerging from the water. The herd continued to move, a small cloud of dust and ash hung low as they moved to another place.

A moros intrepidus ate flesh from the jaws of a large, carnivorous beast. The creature growled slowly as it rose its head. The smaller dinosaur scampered away, not wishing to annoy the apex predator of its time.

Giganotosaurus.

The large therapods shadow emerged a nearby Iguanadon into complete darkness, the creature looked up from its grazing, swift to move once it realised what was in front of it and it.

Tyrannosaurus Rex.

A large, feathered Rex growled lowly at the Giga. Nearby birds were quick to fly away. The two most feared animals of their time circled each other, the ground shaking beneath their weight. Growls and snarls are audible in the air. The rex snaps its jaws at the Gigas tale, and the larger animal roared at it. After a few more seconds passed, the rex roared, charging the Giganotosaurus. The rex lowered its head, the Giga did the same, the two wrestled for a few seconds before the Giga slammed the rex to the ground, grabbing it by the neck with its claws, the rex roared in pain.

The two animals were now deathly close to a steep riverbank, and the ground beneath them started to crumble. The Giga grabbed the rex within its jaws again, biting deeper. The rex screeched in agony. The Giga swiftly jerked its head upwards, the Tyrannosaur went limp, dead. The Giga dumped Rex's corpse in the river, allowing it to be left behind and to die. The creature's eyes went numb as it died, and small mosquitos landed on its muzzle, sucking the animal's blood before flying away into the hot Cretaceous day.

65 million years later.

A helicopter flew overhead, a large light searching the forest below. A large shadow hurled through the woods, growling loudly.

"I have eyes on the animal!" One of the men within the heli called.

The animal exploded through a fence, straight into a drive-in cinema. One man turned to face the creature, only to be met by a set of teeth clamping around his lower body. People screamed as they attempted to flee the tyrannosaurus. A woman was trampled under its foot, one man was hit by a car trying to run, and a young woman was hit in the back by its tail. A young boy turned to stare in horror at the creature.

"SHOOT IT! SHOOT THE DAMN ANIMAL!!" One of the men within the helicopter screamed. A soldier aimed his rifle and fired, narrowly missing the rex, landing within the windscreen of an elderly couple's car instead. The queen of the dinosaurs roared, the movie projecting itself onto the creature's body.

The rex turned and fled into the woods yet again.
"Damnit! I lost sight of it!"
"Calm down, rookie. It can't hide forever."
