Me: Oh, I should probably get back to re-writing Dominion! It's probably been a week or so since I posed the previous chapter
The Last Chapter: *Posted THREE MONTHS Ago*
Me: *Perfectly cut scream*
TW: Characters die pretty brutally in this chapter, if you don't like gore or animal attacks, I'll be highlighting the gore in Italic. Afterwards, make sure that you get a breather! Drink water, hug your momma and don't die.
Without further ado, let us begin- The Maze Of Gore.

We cut to the outside of the shell the market is held inside as Owen and Barry are atop the tall building Owen looks through a pair of binoculars. Owen bites his lower lip as he attempts to spot the man who kidnapped his daughter. His eyes light up with hate as he spots him, Rainn Delacourt.
The smuggler was with another man, he walked with his hands in his trench coat pockets as he boasted about the latest sale. Owen sneered as he turned on his radio.
"I think I got him, the East wing of the market, trench coat, with another smuggler." He growled into his radio. Barry, who sat beside him, turned his attention to the trafficker. "I remember him." He sneered.
"He started in Kenya, Elephants and pangolins were his main catches. But now? It's whatever he can get his hands on."
Owen looked at him, imagining all the animals he killed and sold, he gags slightly.
"Sounds like a real piece of shit." He grumbles.
"If I start ripping him a new one, don't stop me." He says as he stands up, calling out to his wife.
"Claire, He's headed underground. You see him?" He barks into the headpiece.
Inside, Claire sees Rainn enter. A sneer on her face as she pulls Zia over, pointing over at the man. "Yeah, I've got him." She hissed into her mic. Owen and Barry race down the stairs, Owen seeing red as he thinks of the beating he'll give the trafficker. Zia and Claire keep an eye on Rainn as they wait for backup.
As the duo sprinted downstairs to catch the hunter, snipers all train their eyes and barrels as they pointed their rifles at two traffickers and Soyona
"It's Bravo one. Primary target on sight. No sign of the girl." One whispered into his mic. Owen ignored the voices in his ear and continued to dash forwards. Unaware of the several men coming to whoop his ass, Delacourt and his friend approached a woman who dressed neatly, a pair of sunglasses high on her nose as she stared the two men down, a cold and calculating smirk appeared on her face.
Behind her was a large cargo truck with several metal human-sized cages visible from within. The air is thick with frantic snarls, reverberating roars and rumbling growls. "My people say the raptor arrived in good condition. You boys didn't cock this up. Colour me amazed. I do have another job for you. Short hop. Money's double." The woman spoke up, dropping a bag of money before the two brushed a stray strand of blonde hair away from her face.
Delacourt remained sceptical. He picked up the bag and looked inside for a brief moment, calming down now that he knew he had his money. He looked past the woman. "What's the cargo?" He asked, eyeing the shaking boxes behind her. The woman smirked "Atrociraptors. Thoroughbreds. Trained to kill."
"Kill who?" Rainn asked, tilting his head slightly.
The woman snorted. She held a small laser pointer in her hands. "Whoever they're told. Laser marks the target they attach to the scent and don't stop till it's dead. Inescapable. Those idiots making hybrids had it all wrong. You can't engineer loyalty. You have to nurture it. 50,000 to fly them to Riyadh. In or out?" Claire's eyes watered as she came to a haunting location.
