Bella's POV:
We slow down to a steady walk on a dirt path in a forest. I rest my head on his shoulder and look up at the sky through the leaves of the trees.
A calm wind rustles the leaves and some start to flout down. With the sun setting to our right and the moon starting to rise, the world around us slowly goes to sleep.
The sky turns pink then purple then dark blue. I stare up at the now night sky and the stars start to shine.
"We should rest" Jack says as Snowfall comes to a stop.
He lifts his leg over and hops down, he then helps me down. My feet touch the ground which is covered by leaves in all sorts of colours.
Brown, hazel, red, orange, yellow and green.
I wonder around the area we are making our camp sight and start to feel alive.
More alive then I have ever felt.
I look up at the night sky that is covered with stars and the moon finally comes out from its hiding spot behind the clouds.
My eyes start to feel light and magic surround them and soon, everything goes white.
I wake up to see Jack shaking me at my shoulders.
"Bella?! Bella!?" He yells.
My eyes fully open and he wraps his arms around me, "are you ok? What happened?"
"I...I don't know" I reply still trying to wrap my head around what just happened "how long was I out?"
"A few minutes" he replies helping me to put my back against a fallen log.
I notice a fire a few feet from us and the warmth from the flames makes me relax.
"Are you ok?"
"I feel fine" I reply "what happened when I was out?" I hint at the fire.
"I started a fire before I noticed you unconscious on the ground...are you sure your ok?" He asks again as he checks my head for any injuries.
"I am fine...nothing is bleeding...I probably just fainted" I reply leaning my head against his shoulder "I just need some water and food and I will be fine"
"Water and food coming up" he replies as he gets up and runs off into the forest.
When he is gone, I look through my bag and take out the red book.
Tribes and Kingdoms of Mythia.
I open the book and start reading the words that cover the pages like a blanket. I flick through the pages as I read, learning about the kingdoms to the north and east.
"I hope you like rabbit!" Jack calls out as he runs over to me and the fire with two dead brown rabbits in his right had and a drink bottle in his left. "Your water, ma'am" he hands me the bottle.
I smile as I take it.
I open the bottle and begin drinking the cold water inside.
While Jack cooks the rabbit, I continue to read.
Theirs a kingdom to the far north called the Wintandra, it's full of Yetis, Amarok, Bocuk and many more. But the rarest one is the ice Phoenix, a beautiful bird made of ice and snow and can start blue fires wherever and whenever it wants.
Their said to be extinct.
"What are you reading?" Asks Jack snapping me out of my thoughts.
I look up to see him sitting by the fire with the two rabbits on a stick over the red flames.
"Tribes and kingdoms of Mythia" I reply holding up the book, "I found it in the barn with two other books"
"What are the two other books about?" He asks me moving closer to me.
