Chapter 3

A/N thanks for reading the last chapter it means a lot. I started writing this chapter a while ago.
However I need your guys help! Do you like my writing style? If you guys could comment on anything that you want me to improve or change would be amazing!
We didn't manage to get enough votes and comments but I thought I'd update anyway. Let's try that goal again. 10 votes and 3 comments?

Cassie's PoV
I smiled not taking my eyes off what lay before me. By the pool was a little picnic rug , a pepperoni pizza, a bottle of lemonade,2glasses and Luke's iPod which was gently playing soft music in the background.
Luke spun around to face me, a unsure look plastered on his face.
I stayed silent for a moment, my eyes looking from the picnic to Luke and back to the picnic. "I ummm. I did this to say sorry. If it's stupid I can pack it all away", he asked,obviously a little bit nervous. "Don't be silly. Thank you", I smiled. He smiled back sitting down on the rug.
I joined him.

He passed me a plate with pepperoni pizza on. I looked at my plate then back at Luke, giving him a 'are you kidding me' look. I heard him chuckle and grab some tomato sauce from behind him. "God, I thought you forgot", I laughed squirting it on my plate. "I'm your brother. I would never forget you forth favourite thing", he said giving me a cheeky smile before biting into his pizza. "Alright then smarty pants. What are my first,second and third favourite things", I smirked, beginning to eat my pizza. "That's easy. First is our family even though we are a weird bunch",he chucked. "Second is your dog Fudge. And third would be...", he paused. "Third would be?", I questioned. "I'm gonna say.... Your bed", he asked. "Well done Mr Hemmings you passed", I praised, eating more pizza. "Good job aswell. I would of had to disown you. Little lukey wouldn't have been able to handle that", I laughed. Before I knew it his hand had rushed through the water, splashing me on purpose. I squealed In happiness and disgust.

"You better watch your back now Hemmings", I said, wiping the water droplets off my glasses. "You know I love you really", he answered.

We finished eating our pizza in silence, taking in each others company. "I missed you, you know that", I mumbled crawling to the other side of the rug, sliding my body under his arm. He gave me a gentle squeeze. "I missed you too princess", he kissed the top of my head. "I wish you didn't have to go away for so long", I said, beginning to get tired. "Me too sweetheart but it's my job. Least I get to be at home for the next 3 months", he answered as I slowly nodded my head.

We sat in each others company for a little while before I began to yawn. "Why don't you go to bed babe. I'll tidy up whilst you get ready and then we could watch a movie", he suggested. I nodded my head and made my way into the house and into my room.

I was too tired to have a shower so I just changed into an old t-shirt and pyjama shorts. I opened the cabinet door and pulled a couple movies out so Luke could make the final decision. "Luke", I shouted. I soon heard the familiar footsteps and knock on my door. Slowly Luke's head peered through. "Ready", he asked and i nodded. "Let me just go change", he said and began to small walk to his room. I sighed falling back onto my bed, shutting my eyes for a couple minutes. "Are these the movies to choose from", my brother asked. "Mmm", I muttered, my eyes still shut.

I had laid out school of rock, Gravity, love actually and identity thief.

I heard Luke put a DVD into the tv before I felt my bed flop down further. I opened my eyes and adjusted my position. I know noticed Luke was wearing nothing but a grey pair of sweats. "Comfy", he politely asked as the movie began to start. The opening credits of School of Rock appeared on the screen. I looked over at Luke and smiled. This was one of my favourite movies. Slowly as I watched the movie I began to drift to sleep.

"Don't just stand there. Get me some Paracetamol or something", someone shouted from downstairs causing me to stir. "Anything else we can do", I heard. I slowly sat up in bed, realising that I was alone and in the dark. I rubbed my eyes and pulled back the covers. I was going to find out what was going on.

I made my way onto the landing and heard voices downstairs. I went to go and investigate. "What's going on", I asked once I reached the kitchen door. My family turned to look at me. "Your mums just in a little pain darling with the baby. But it's okay", my dad reassured me. "Mum go sit down", I said noticing she was clutching her enormous belly.
"Cass I'm fine honestly baby girl", she smiled. "Mum please", I asked. She soon gave in and went to sit on the sofa.

My parents were mad. After having 4 children already, 3 boys and 1 girl, they still wanted another child. They said having a big family was important to them. I do hope it's a little sister. As much as I like being the only girl it does get quite annoying at times, and besides it would be kind of nice to have someone I can teach everything too.

I soon snapped out of my thoughts when my mum rubbed my knee. "Did you do anything when we left sweetie", she asked. "Well Luke apologised to by making a picnic with pizza by the pool. We also watched School of Rock", I told her. "Well Cass got through the first 20 minutes before she fell asleep", Luke chuckled. I began to yawn again. "Get yourself to bed misses. You have a busy day tomorrow", my dad said giving my mum a hot water bottle. "Ugh", I sighed getting myself off the sofa. "What are we doing tomorrow", I asked before I made my way upstairs. "In the morning we are going to go get some breakfast together. Then we need to go shopping. Cass you have a dentist appointment with Ben at 1:25 and then your mum wants to take you shopping", he said. "jeez I'm not going to the dentist", I muttered. "Sorry babe but you have to", my mother added. "Anyway. I'm gonna head back to my house for the night", Ben said kissing my mum goodnight and giving everyone a quick hug.

"Don't make me go", I mumbled info my brothers chest. "Sorry Cass but you know I can't. Be brave yeah", he questioned and I gave a little nod. "See you tomorrow babe", he said giving me a quick kiss. "Ass", I muttered under my breath. "I heard that",he laughed before shouting goodnight and leaving the house. "Night", I shouted and made my way upstairs to bed.
