Chapter 3

Avoura's POV

Akira told us that Mr. Corbin will arrive on Friday with the antidote for this. I don't think I can act like Viola 'til then. Especially when I see... Candice.

The blood inside me always boils when I hear her name. She's a theater girl who's got nothing better to do than pick on Viola just because Axel likes her. And honestly, she just majored in theater because Axel did. So desperate.

Viola never acknowledges her but I cannot STAND her. And now I just gotta ignore her AND her stupid minions?! This is gonna be hell. I do not like people pushing me around. Let alone my friends.

Well, I better finish getting ready and get out to eat breakfast or I'm gonna be late.

I finish brushing my (or Viola's) dark wavy brown hair and put the hairbrush down on the vanity and fix up my uniform. I then get out of the room to see everyone already started on breakfast.

"Avour, come on. You better start eating or we're gonna be late. Why were you taking so long anyway?" Akira asked, before stuffing her mouth with a forkful of eggs.

"I was just thinking about.. stuff. I can't imagine having to be Viola for a week. This is gonna be tough." I said, whilst taking a seat.

"You're telling me! I have no knowledge of psychology. And plus, I can't even go on my first date with my crush!" Viola said, looking sad.

"Trust me, I hate this just as much as you do. I don't even like the kid! He is so annoying to me." I said.

It is true though. Axel is annoying to me. Though it doesn't look like it with other people. Clearly, I don't see what Viola sees in that boy.

"Well, eat up. We gotta get to college." Gaby said as she proceeded to eat faster.

We quickly finish our breakfast and put all the dirty dishes in the sink. We'll wash them later. We gotta get to college.

Viola's POV

We head outside and start walking to our college which is just next to the apartment so it just took a minute to walk there. However, just when we entered the building, people started waving and greeting me. Which they usually do to Avoura because she is quite popular here because she wasn't afraid of the previous popular girls who, I admit, were a bit snooty. I also believe she's known for her grades, she tops her school every year, which also made her become loved by the teachers. Boy, I got expectations to fill.

I greeted them back and it was going alright so far.. until we see Candice and her minions, Stella and Kiara.

Avoura's POV

Not a surprise. I expected Candice's gang to approach us at some point today.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the boyfriend snatcher. Whose guy are you gonna sweep up next?" Candice said her usual monologue with a smirk on her face.

I know Viola wouldn't give a care in the world, but I can't.

"Can't you think of something else to say other than that every morning? Getting tired of it." I said to her. She looked quite shocked since Viola never talked back to her. Viola (in my body) told me to just ignore her but I didn't listen.

"Huh, that's strange. Usually, you're the quiet one and your friend is the one who gets ticked off easily. It's like you two switched bodies or something." Candice said, quite confused but still trying to act cool.

"Whatever. Now, you'll excuse us, we have to go to class." I said to her while shoving her and her gang out of my way. The rest followed me.

"You'll pay for this!" Candice yelled, probably looking furious but I didn't bother to turn around.

Akira pulled me aside when we were all out of Candice's sight.

"Vour, are you crazy?! Do you think that's what Viola would do?" Akira said.

"No... But I wanted to put that girl in her place and Viola would never do it so I did it for her." I said. It was really satisfying to see Candice's face turn red in anger.

"Well, you better start acting like Viola! Come on, it's just five days." Gaby told me. Does she really think I'm capable of that?

"Just five days? I'm sorry but I CANNOT." I said.

"Alright, let's just go to class and we'll talk again later," Viola said.

I was heading for to my class and Viola was going to hers when Gaby cleared her throat.

"Uhm did you two forget what class you're supposed to go to?"

Right. I'm gonna hate this week.
