Chapter 6

Akira's POV

"So.. where do you think they're going?" asked Gaby. Class had already started by now, but I couldn't care less at this point.

"Well, I eavesdropped on their conversation earlier today and they're going to the new café down the street." I said.

"Well, let's go, then!" Gaby said.

We've left the college building already, and now, we're heading to the café.

When we were walking, we saw Axel and Avoura sitting at the table outside, probably waiting for their food to arrive.

"Come on, we can't let them see us!" I said. I discreetly went over to the tree nearby and hid behind it while the others followed behind me.

Avoura's POV

"So how's college doin' for ya?" Axel asked me, starting up a conversation.

"Alright. Despite loads of tests, I rather enjoy studying psychology," I replied.

"Psychology? I thought you studied Animal Science?" He said, confused.

Oops.

"Oh, yeah! Animal Sciences. Sorry, I said the wrong major." I said chuckling, trying to cover up my mistake.

"No worries. By the way, what do you hope to be when you graduate?" He asked another question. Why does it feel like he's interrogating me?

"Well, I always dreamt of being a psy- I mean a veterinarian. I just love animals." I answered. That was a close call. "What about you? An actor?" I asked him.

"Well, yes. I always loved being in the spotlight and working in theater." He answered.

"Oh, did you do many plays growing up?"

"Yes, I did, actually. I played Romeo in 'Romeo and Juliet' before in middle school. That was one of my favorites."

"That sounded like fun!" I answered, just before the food arrived.

The waiter put ricotta waffles in front of me and eggs benedict in front of Axel. He also put two iced glasses of water on the table.

"Enjoy. Let me know if you two like anything else," He said. I thanked him and he walked away.

I picked up the utensils and started helping myself to the delicious waffles that were sitting in front of me and Axel did the same to his food.

"Wow, this is delicious! Have you been here before?" I asked before putting another bite into my mouth.

"Yes, I have. I've gone with the boys a couple of days ago. I could eat this every day!" He said.

Well, it was really good. I would eat it every day if I could.

30 minutes later...

Viola's POV

"It's been half an hour. I'd honestly much rather be in class right now. We don't have anything to do here." I said, before yawning.

"Well, just wait a few more minutes. It looks like they're about to leave anyway," Akira said.

I don't know how she doesn't look bored out of her mind. 'Cause I certainly am. I look to my right and there I see Gaby, sleeping.

"Gaby, wake up!" I whisper-shouted at her.

She wasn't waking up and I couldn't think of any other way to wake her up so...

SLAP!

"HEY! What's that about?!" She yelled as she abruptly woke up. She made quite a bit of noise that made Avoura & Axel look at each other like 'What was that?' so Akira wasn't too happy about that.
