Today was the day that I get out. I was going to run away. I didn't know where I was going, but this place wasn't an option. I didn't have anything to lose, I had no clothes and no one loved me except Chad. I had enough. I grabbed my few clothes that I had and I left in the middle of the night. I left my brother a note telling him that I loved him and I ran for my life. As I walked down the street, I thought about going to the police and reporting them for child abuse and child neglect, but I couldn't do that to Chad. I walked slowly down main street and a car slowly pulled up besides me. I looked at the car and bolted into a fast run. Just when I thought I was gonna survive.
