A/N: Hey, I'm back after a hiatus that lasted for months to post my Total Drama Island series that'll focus on navigating relationships between characters and all the complications that comes with it from there on (with fanart to accompany from time to time!)
Warnings before continuing: This series is firmly 16+. It will delve into mature themes but nothing strictly for adults.
Some chapters are extremely long, and others may not seem long enough, so if you'll be annoyed by something like that, you'll already know what to expect. The plot of Total Drama will not be twisted so much that the story becomes unrecognizable, or that any of the original characters from the series goes OOC. Most of the characters, including the OC, are teenagers. That means any type of incest, pedophiliac, and underage content will not be found here, so please don't reader or comment under the assumption that I'm into that sort of thing.
Finally, I do not own anything except the OC and the story and storyline revolving around them. All other storylines may include her, but won't be about her.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get started!

Name: Ayana Johnson
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Dark Brown (Tamarind because I'm really descriptive)
Race/Ethnicity: African American
Label: (A/N: Guess in the comments from the information below!)
Likes: Being around people she feels close to, sharing her ideas, and showcasing her strengths.
Dislikes: Feeling like she hasn't lived up to her full potential, having someone insult her skills and making decisions on a whim.
Known For: Her talented background and academic record.
Why TDI?: The money will help her family out and the contest will be a good way to make sure her skills don't grow rusty.
Being the second eldest child out of four kids, Ayana quickly learned that it's better to stay on everyone's good side, eventually turning herself into somewhat of a golden child. Her parents were thrilled with her attitude - even making sure their daughter didn't slip up too much, keeping the bar raised high. Other than that, growing up in Texas (a state popular for pro-sports), Ayana has gotten used to practicing Tennis in the searing heat. So yeah, she has moments where she'd push herself past her limits for the sake of her team (especially for Varsity), but hopefully in the end, it'll all be worth it.
She's also very creative, which can be very helpful in many situations. Her imagination truly has no bounds, and even if she doesn't mean to, scaring the people around her oftentimes.
Gives out weird advice she found on the internet - actually helpful sometimes. Other than that, she's an absolute brainiac (no joke), she's been considered "gifted" since Elementary school - with that word, everyone expects the most out of you, whether you like it or not. But that doesn't matter. She's able to handle the pressure.
You see it now? This girl was made for Total Drama. She's has the brains and the brawns, and all the skills to go along with it. She's glows everywhere she goes because she knows what her worth is. The only problem is how closed off she is at first. If you're going to know what she's worth, at least ask her, geez! And don't even think about pushing her to socialize, it's bad enough to have people flocking around you, relying on your every move to accomplish something they can probably do themselves if they just try. It's like people don't know when to catch on - because really, how are you going to win an entire competition if you can't win (or at least help out) a single challenge for yourself or your team?!
Sure, it feels nice that other kids admire her brain, but please - do something for yourself for once, it may not even be that hard. And that's another reason why she's suited for Total Drama Island: Unlike most people, she can actually get things over with, quickly, quietly, and efficiently.
