Chapter Seventeen.

Azaan Realizes His Mistake.

Mistakes can be rectified if someone who has done it is true to themselves and true to the person they are apologizing to.

Mistakes make us human. We make them so that we could understand why we had to make them. They become the lessons that we need in life and the future.

Making mistakes is part of learning from them. Learn what the consequences of our actions might be or who we end up hurting in the process.

Azaan's pov.

I need to find her but where do I look for her? I made a mistake that might end up with her divorcing me and I can't let that happen.

Think, think, Azaan. Where could she be?

The café!!!

I quickly got up from the couch and took my car keys and walked out of the house and into my car. Mamma had already left to go back home as she was much needed by Dad and Azhar.

I thanked her and I had to keep in mind what she told me about Saira and her forgiving me.

Ya Allah, I hope that she is there. And I pray that will forgive me and if she can't I will have to try my best to do anything for her just to make her forgive me.

I couldn't help but remember how Sameer was because of Shyra's disappearance. He was very worried about her and has never given up on finding her.

That's true love and it is hard to come by. I want that with Saira.

In shaa Allah, I will get it. 

I quickly reached my destination at the café, I parked the car and got out. I then took a deep breath and walked towards the front door hoping that she is there.

I open the door and walked into the café and fortunately for me, she was sitting in her favorite booth with a cup of coffee in her hand.

I slowly walked toward her and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. I was the one responsible for them.

The tears in my wife's eyes and I felt my heart break while I moved toward her table.

"Saira...."

"What are you doing here?" she asks me wiping her tears harshly.

I took a seat down and looked at her with tears in my eyes matching hers.

"I am sorry, habibty. From my heart. I know what I did was wrong but you managed to make me fall in love with you without even realizing it. I am sorry...."

"No, stop. You have hurt me more than you ever know, Azaan. Apologizing to me will not make things better. I need time to process this and I don't know if I can ever let go of what you did", She tells me sniffing.

Saira's Pov.

Sitting at the café is the only thing I can do freely but how can do that when my mind is on Azaan and only him?

He is here sitting in front of me with tears in his eyes matching mine.

Why do people think that when you say sorry, it fixes everything in the relationship?

Sometimes sorry isn't just enough for someone, actions speak louder than words.

"I know what I did....."

"Was unforgiveable. But the question is why? No, I have a better question. If I was Iman and someone did the same thing as you did to me, what would she feel?", I tell him.
