Happiness Doesn't Last Long For Fahd As Faryal Strikes Again.

Fahd's pov.

It has been almost a year and a half since I last saw Faryal and I hope and pray that she never returns from where she is.

Alhamdullilah, my company is now moving ahead and I am currently interviewing my employees that will be part of my company as well as my family.

Right now I am interviewing for the position of assistant which is an essential role in the company.

Because the said person will follow me everywhere, in meetings that might occur out of the country.

But sometimes, things aren't meant to happen the way we want them to. Somewhere in between things happen when they are meant to. Just like the interviews that are currently conducted won't go exactly the way I had planned them to go.

I knew deep in my heart that something will happen that will hurt me and my company but I also know that Allah won't let anything bad happen to good people.

As I was sitting in my office waiting for the next person to come in when someone else barged in. I look up to none other than Faryal who was fuming with anger.

I was unfazed and didn't even flinch at the sight of her.

"What are you doing here?", I calmly asked her.

"I want to know why you are investigating me? Let me see, you still want me, right?", she says smirking at me.

"Sorry? I don't want nor do I need you. And to your answer, I am not and will never investigate you. Plus why do I need to do that when you are out of my life for good? Because now I have someone who I can love, be happy and also have a family too", I lie to her hoping that she won't catch up to my lie.

I needed her to believe that I don't and will never need her not now and not ever.

"Don't lie, Fahd. I know that you arent over me...."

As she was about to finish talking when we were interrupted by a knock on the door. Without saying anything, a woman came in looking surprised.

But I wasn't surprised to see her. As I already knew her. She is Azaan's cousin, Hanan.

What is she doing here?

I asked myself but she would be perfect for my plan to get rid of Faryal and get her out of my company.

"Habibty, I was waiting for you. Do we need to go over to mum and dad's house?", I ask Hanan hoping that she would have caught on to my lie.

"Yes, we do", she thankfully caught up. I can sigh of relief.

But I know that I will have to explain everything to her when all of this is over. I just hope she will understand and go along with my story.

"So, its true. You have replaced me...."

"You can replace something or someone when they are worthless. When someone finds a defect you either return the gift or just throw it away but in some other cases, you fix them," Hanan replies her surprising me In the process.

"Just like in a marriage, many will tell you to just divorce when you have problems, but I will say where there's a problem, there's always a solution", she added looking at Faryal.

She keeps amazing me but no, Fahd. You need to stay away from her. She is Azaan's cousin and is married to someone else. I can't keep her as an employee, maybe after I ask my family about it then I will decide what to do.

This made Faryal fume with anger while looking at Hanan who didn't even look fazed at all.

"I came here to warn, Fahd. Leave things as they are because if you don't then don't forget that there will always be consequences", she tells me before she walked out of the door.

"I am sorry about that. I needed to get her off my back as she is someone I rather never see again in my life. I am sorry again for involving you", I started to apologize to her.

"Its okay. I am glad to have helped you. Anyways, I came to tell you that your secretary's phone has been ringing non stop. That's all. I will take my leave, now. Excuse me", she says to me leaving the office making me surprised that she wasn't here for a job interview as I had thought.

What we both don't know is how wrong we are in whatever we are thinking about one another.

Life has a way of getting us together without even realizing how much we need each other in our lives.

We will see them in their book, His Healer where everything will be revealed. Patience pays.
