A Donor For Yusuf Who Is Faryal and Faiz's Son.

Writer's pov.

It has been a few weeks since Faryal and Faiz found out about the illness of their son. They have been looking for donors on each side of their families because none of them was a match for their son.

Right now they are in the doctor's office trying to look at the positive side of what's to come.

The doctor called them telling them that someone has come forward to be the donor and they needed to see who it was.

But what they didn't know was that someone unexpected is giving them a second chance at their son even if Faryal has hurt their family.

"Asalam Aleikum, Mr and Mrs. Khan. Come inside. We have been expecting you", the doctor tells them leading them inside his office.

"Waleikum salaam", Faryal answers back as they followed him to his office.

As they walked in, they were surprised to see Azaan's cousin and her daughter sitting waiting for them.

Armaan and her mother Hanan.

"Please take a seat now so that we can discuss things and get to know when to do the operation....."

"No, I am sorry but I can't accept this from you, Hanan. After what I did to your cousin and your family...."

"Faryal, I am not the one doing this. Armaan is. When she heard that Yusuf hasnt been feeling well and she wanted to do something about it. She got this from her uncle who has always been selfless when it comes to helping people. I support my daughter in her decision even if she is only 5-years-old. I raised her so that she could understand what is happening and wants to help even though......"

"Aunt Faryal, can I talk to you, please?", Armaan interrupts her mother and then stands up and goes to Faryal.

"Yes, what is it, sweetheart?".

"Yusuf has been my best friend ever since I started school and he has helped from getting bullied. Now its my turn to help him. I know that I might be a child but I understand what mamma told me and I want to help him by making him feel better. Yusuf is my guardian and now I will be his", she tells her wiping the tears off Faryal's cheeks.

Faryal then turns to face Hanan and said; "You raised her wonderful. She will be a great person someday and I accept your help, Armaan. Thank you".

She hugged the little girl in her arms while looking at her husband who had a smile on his face knowing that their little boy will be fine.

That's all that matters to them.

The doctor started scheduling the operation for Yusuf as time is of the essence for him. He needs to get the transplant immediately.

"Alhamdullilah for Armaan. Now our son will be alright", Faryal tells her husband as soon as the kids were wheeled into their operating room.

After a few hours, the doctor walked out telling them that the operation was successful and that the kids will be wheeled into their rooms.

The happy parents thanked the doctor and hugged each other and thanked Hanan once again for what her daughter did to their son.

"We owe you our son's life. Thank you so much, Hanan. For everything and I am sorry for what I did to you and...."

"Hey, listen. That's the past, you should focus on the future, and Yusuf's health is far more important than that. So now let's go and see the kids", Hanan tells her taking her by the hand and then leading them to their kids' room.

Faryal needed Hanan's words to soothe what she has been feeling about what happened to Azaan. She was glad that she was forgiven by his family.

"See, he will be fine, in shaa Allah", Hanan tells her pointing at Yusuf who was sleeping due to the anesthesia that was given to him.

"Yes and its all thanks to you and your daughter. I can't thank you enough for everything," Faryal tells her.

As time goes by and Yusuf's health has been improving making the doctor and his parents very happy with his progress.

"Now the only thing remaining is making sure he gets his check up on time and gets to take his meds too", the doctor tells them to give them Yusuf's last medication as he won't be needing anymore.

This made Faryal and Faiz very happy knowing that their son is now safe from harm.

Alhamdullilah.

Helping people without having an ulterior motive is something that is done with a clean and clear mind and heart. But not everyone is like Hanan or even her daughter Armaan. Help when it is needed.
