Pots filled with hot broths; steam escaped the rims from the freshly cooked meat.
Human meat to be exact.
The table was filled with it. Many options to choose from.
“Mmm~” An old man that seemed as if ripped out of a grave sat on one of the wooden chairs leaning forth on the table, his hungry gaze travelled between the many dishes and there went his fork plunging into the bowl of eyeballs covered in red sauce and parsley.
But before he could even get one of those things on his fork. His hand was smacked away with force and he stumbled back falling into his chair.
“NO” The pregnant woman from before swung her cleaver around and hit the old guy’s hand with the flat part of it making him groan to the sudden knuckle burn.
“Wait” She glared at him while the old guy seemed to barely be able to talk. Guess being far from humanity and being close to animals snatched a lot of their abilities. One of them being the ability to speak fluently or even express their emotions.
Animals after all.
“Grrr~ ” The old guy growled to how the woman interrupted him yet he sat down there gurgling lowly. He still remembers how she chopped off his limb just because he dipped his finger in her meal she had cooked solely for herself.
Jimin dragged himself into the space sighing and feeling irritated already from being with his family. It never gave any warm feelings to him.
What’s even that? He doesn’t know!
Family, bonds, love.
He never knew and that being the main reason why he was so curious about humans. They had a lot that cannibals lacked.
It was always so amusing to see how they held each other close and how their lips stretched while looking at each other and it just looked…. So new.
And here sat his so-called family.
Killing each other over something so small as an eyeball.
He couldn’t help yet to give an eye roll seeing how they just scowled to each other.
So animalistic, so boring!
Jimin reached his hand forth towards the chair and grabbed a hold of it. His claws like nails dug against the old wooden chair. Dragging it back he plopped down on the chair laying back against it sighing.
That again.
That single sigh earned him his father’s glare.
“Pathetic.” He growled towards Jimin to which Jimin gave an eye roll of course he knew his family never liked how he could come up with many expressions that they couldn’t.
Even he spoke so many words and was fluent enough.
This was never taken as something good rather a flaw.
“Stop… that.” His father warned him glaring at the boy, their only child for now until the new one was to be born. And to prove Jimin as a flawed being his father was eager to get another child so he can look down upon the boy and hold the other superior. Yet Jimin cared the least.
He was about 24 yrs old by now and no matter how many cannibal girls his father proposed to him from the related colonies, Jimin always came back drenched in blood with a heart in hand from their supposed to be dates.
Another reason he was a disgrace to the family but again he never cared.
He rather liked watching humans on his broken T.V. screen he had found in the camper van, Jimin had taken down with his father.
