"...Yes, they were brown, a dark hue of brown, mono-lid eyes with brown orbs, and you have to add a few scars here and here, they were faded and some were fresh, his hair needs more length and they were not shiny they were braided and entangled, and please don't forget to add the machete in his hand-"
"Is this a character from a 90's thriller movie or what? Damn, this man looks fierce like Vikings..."
"Uh- yeah, it's... from a movie I saw, I really loved his character in that so I wanted this sketch for you know, decorating my studio haha~"
"Movie without me? How rude! But you're a vanilla girl with first love as flowers and beaches, I mean your place looks too warm for something like this, this is new and weird but interesting Gev, I give you for that~"
It was a cozy studio, bathed in the soft glow of afternoon sunlight filtering through the curtains, the girl sat perched on a stool beside the raven head guy. With delicate gestures, she guided his hand across the canvas, shaping the strokes into the contours of a man who inhabited her memories. Each brushstroke captured a fragment of his essence, breathing life into the image as it emerged from the blank expanse.
"I have never painted people other than couples, and you are making me dive into something completely different here, it's giving me chills bruh-" Spoke Taehyung while he worked, carving in each detail as Genevieve watched the evolving portrait. With a wistful smile playing on her lips, her gaze traced the lines of the painting, lost in the memories of the past. Each stroke of the brush revived that night, his rough grip holding her against him, warm breaths striking against her neck as she felt his heart beat harder behind the veil of his chest. The sweat running down his exposed muscles from the worn-out A top spoke of the fire within him to escape. Every step forth was firm. He was determined to escape that hell hole with her.
But... A moment's mistake caused them to diverge from their common path. She had lost her savior and every day it ached to know she had failed him.
Scared to forget him, she decided to get the memories inked onto a paper and it gave a warm satisfaction to her heart to see that familiar face in front of her eyes.
With each stroke, the painting began to take on a life of its own, capturing not just the physical likeness of the man, but the essence of his presence—the odd combination of ferocity and warmth in his eyes, those scars screaming so many tales in mere whispers, those hands that held her and saved her from her grief death. And, as the final brushstroke fell into place, she found herself transported back in time, goosebumps broke all over her skin, her heartbeat quickening, and she felt like he would reach a hand out of that picture and grab her any moment. Once again to hold her hostage and satisfy his curiosity, answer the questions that brought him to the edge to ask a prey!
Genevieve instantly tore her gaze away and stood from the stool earning Taehyung's confused and questioning stare.
"I-I forgot I need to complete the wedding shoot order by today, let me know once you are done, bye Taehyungie, thank you so much" She leaned in to press a kiss against the guy's cheek who was to say something but the action left him a blushing mess as he melted in his chair.
The door slam behind was what brought him out of his love-struck thoughts and he looked back.
"Genevieve wait- Aish~ the hell Kim Taehyung, you're never gonna grow some balls and just say it huh" He peered back to the painting and jolted in his own seat finding those piercing cold orbs staring back at him.
"Geez- I almost got a heart attack, Can't believe I painted this" Shaking his head, he began to add more color and more depth to the picture.
Taehyung sat back in his chair, his eyes fixed on the canvas before him. He couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as he worked on the portrait. "Who are you?" he murmured to himself, his voice barely above a whisper. His mind raced with questions. "What if this isn't just a painting?" he thought, a shiver running down his spine. "What if it's a glimpse into a reality I never knew existed?"
