Happy reading! :)

The constant caws of nearby crows caused your weary (E/C) eyes to open. Those dumb crows have been making noise all night long and you feel like you are losing your sanity. Your next trial is in five hours, and you still have not recovered from the last trial which was two hours ago. At least you think. Time does not make sense in this realm.
You came towards the river to see if the noises of rushing water would drown out the crows, but did not seem to be the case. It seems to be that a pair of pesky crows have been following you since you left the campsite and have decided to bother you. Stupid crows! Where was Jake when you need him?
The crows continued to caw, as if you taunting you. You shook your head and sighed as you took off one your shoes. These crows are going to get it!
You quickly throw your shoe at one the crows trying to hide in the branches of the trees. It screeched as the shoe nearly hits it. You quickly go to retrieve your shoe, but the crows dive down and begin a full on assault.
"Hey! OW! OW! STOP THAT!" You hastily shouted, as the birds kept pecking you with their sharp beaks.
A gunshot could be heard quite close. Your body instantly tensed while the annoying crows shrieked with terror. Not a moment passed after and the crows fled deeper into this never ending realm.
You whipped your body around to see a familiar cowboy reloading his strange gun. A smile formed across your face as you slowly approached the river.
The two of you have been friends for a little while now. The both of you talk in the trials and outside. Although, the Entity has not placed the two of you in a trial for awhile.
"Hey there." You waved.
"Hello Y/N! How is my favorite survivor doing today?" He waved back with a large grin.
You responded, "Fine I suppose. You?"
"I'm doing just fine myself. Why don't you come over? I'd love to talk with ya." The Deathslinger answered.
You wanted to cross, but you hesitated. It was possible the other killers were nearby and you doubt the Entity would be thrilled about this.
"Uh...what if the other killers are around." You nervously said.
"I wouldn't worry about that. Nobody comes around these parts expect for the silent few, but they won't utter a word. If you are really concerned, I'll protect ya." He reassured.
"Thanks." You smiled.
You quickly cross over the cold river. You shiver as your feet are now soaked by the freezing water. Although, you did not mind it as this point. The last several trials had taken place in hot areas.
You calmly approached and nearby tree and immediately sat down to rest. The cowboy killer took a seat next to you. You both calmly observed the river before you.
"You seem tense." Caleb said, with concern in his eerie silver eyes.
"I have another trial in five hours." You answered, bringing your legs to your chest.
"Hmm that doesn't seem too bad." He commented.
"I had three trials in a row today." You wearily informed.
"Oh my. The Entity is really putting ya to work today!" He exclaimed with widened eyes.
"Unfortunately so." You sighed, feeling an oncoming headache.
