The cool air of the dark forest formed goosebumps along your arms as your (E/C) eyes slowly opened. You shakily breathed in the air as the fiery pain from the trials was finally starting to cease. The trial was whole mess and you were just thankful to be out of it even it meant you were sacrificed.
Personally, you decided that you did not want to go against The Pig today. Something about having a reverse bear trap on your head made you very anxious. Anytime you have faced her, you either were sacrificed, brutally killed, escaped. There were the two times the trap had actually taken your life, but after experiencing the feeling of your face being torn up you decided you never wanted to feel that again,
You carefully sat up and heard the voices nearby. A weary smile formed on your lips as you remembered this was your last trial for the day. You could finally return to the campsite and talk with your fellow survivors without the fear of a psychopath lurking about.
You carefully stood up and walked towards the camp. You stumbled a couple times in the process, but you were not worried in the slightest. Being sacrificed was a...strange experience to say the least and your body not acting totally normal was fairly usual. Even after doing this for several years, your body never got used it.
As you entered the campsite, your eyes connected with a group of survivors. Steve's eyes lit up as he waved to you. Yui took her eyes away from Steve and smiled once she saw you. She waved at you while Claudette decided to wave a moment after. Leon quickly waved at you as well. You smiled waved back to all them. They soon returned to their conversation and you immediately scanned the campsite.
You noticed Laurie and Jill talking amongst each other although their conversation seemed serious so probably not the best time to talk to either of them. You also noticed Bill and Nea have what seemed like a friendly conversation, but ultimately decided to leave them be. Meg, Jonah, and Nancy were all having a conversation as well. Felix and Élodie were talking as well, but they bore grim expressions. Perhaps you should talk to someone you had talked with much lately even though that was most survivors.
You quickly noticed Jake and David by themselves, but they seemed occupied in their thoughts. Seemed like the others were either at their tents or at a trial. Your eyes slowly glided toward a figure by the tree. They seemed to be alone, but who was it. The dirty white shirt and those glasses. Had to be Dwight. He was standing by a tree and appeared to be biting his nails. Was something bothering him? You decided you could see if you could help out one of old friends.
You slowly approached him and noticed he seemed rather lost in his thoughts. Dwight was looking toward the direction of the tents and you could hear muttering coming from his lips. Something was definitely bothering him. You could only pray it was not trouble with another survivor.
"Hey! Are you okay Dwight?" You calmly asked, hoping not to scare him.
"Oh yeah. I'm good. Did you get back from a trial?" He slowly asked.
You nodded, "Yeah. Unfortunately I got sacrificed. Why do you ask?"
"Well I was looking for you and I couldn't find you." He spoke before his voice started to trial off.
"Oh sorry. Well I'm here so what did you want to talk about?" You asked.
"Y/N...could we talk alone somewhere.." The brown-haired man nervously asked.
He wanted to talk somewhere alone? That was quite the surprise. You thought Dwight was finally okay being around the others. Maybe this more of a private conversation.
