Chapter 3

Six years later

A 15 year old Aurelia sat in the garden watching the butterflies as her mother watched over her. She was so caught up in her little world that she did not notice the worried stare her mother gave her.

"She's coming of age Jakob,what are we gonna do when her powers starts showing up?"asked a worried Maria.

"Don't worry, we'll make a plan, we've been with her for four years now,I won't lose her,"declared Jakob.

"You better be right about that,we hardly have anytime left until her powers are in full blast"

"I'll come up with something,right now go take care of little Lia and stop worrying your pretty little head.I gotta head to work so I'll be back a little late"

"Ok,hon,I love you"

"Me too"

Maria walked over to Aurelia while trying to convince herself not to worry. She was afraid that if Aurelia's powers started showing people would discover their secrets.

"Mom,"Aurelia suddenly said.

A startled "Hey baby," came from Maria's mouth.

"Mom,where's dad?"inquired Aurelia.

"He had to go to work sweetie,but he'll be back later on,"answered Maria .

"Today calls for a little shopping spree for us two,don't you think?"Maria asked a distracted Aurelia.

"No,no Bea,you are not holding the spoon right,hold it about more like that,"Arianna instructed as she helped Bea stir the chocolate mix.

"But aunt Ari,you showed me to hold it like this"

"Nope, I never showed you that, you're holding that spoon like you're about to go into battle.Relax and stir the mixture"

"I'm trying to"

"No, no, Bea, that is very wrong"

"Ok I give up, I can't do this"

"Go sit over there and I'll mix it for you "

Somewhere in Sitoca

"Jakob,you do realise that what you ask of me is very dangerous right?"inquired a fair blonde-haired woman.

"Yes,I'm aware,but I'm willing to take the risk,"replied a nervous Jakob.

"As long as you're sure,then let's go ahead,what do you want me to do?"the witch, Diana asked.

"Are you not a witch,don't you already know?"

"Exactly,I'm a witch Jakob not a telepath"

"Then why were you asking me so many questions if you didn't know what I was going to ask you to do?"

"You just look like the type of person to do something dangerous impulsively,"replied Diana.

"I want you to block my daughter's powers"

"Welp,ok,I don't even want to know why,"Diana stated.

"Just do it,"Jakob said.

As Diana was chanting, her eyes suddenly glazed into a metallic red shade. She looked straight at Jakob and started repeating a mantra.

"Three things not long hidden:the sun,the moon,the truth
Two sisters linked from birth
Two halves of a whole
Both who share a single soul

The two will once again be one
Once the feat has been done
One of cold nature,with truth and wisdom
The other of a fiery head,but the two will rule one queendom

Their enemies shall suffer
Their friends shall prosper
Until their souls unite
Only then, can they fight with might"

Jakob sat up frantically as he registered Diana's words. He kept trying different methods to try to stop her from speaking in vain.

After half an hour,she finally stopped chanting the poem.

As Diana's eyes glazed back,she went back to performing her spell as if nothing had happened.

"Ok all done,make sure you feed your daughter these pills once a day. Most importantly don't forget to feed her or there will be dire consequences,"Diana said as she handed a packet of pink pills to a pale -looking Jakob.

"Thank you,I will take my leave now,"Jakob said as he rushed out of Diana's cottage.

"Ah,ah,ah,where do you think you're going?"inquired Diana.

"Home where else would I go?"replied a stricken Jakob.

"You can't go home yet, where's my payment?"

"Seriously,here,now bye,"Jakob said as he rushed out if Diana's cottage.

"And there he goes,welp,whatever,"a confused Diana muttered.

"Honey,I got the concoction, maybe it will help!"Jakob shouted as he climbed up the stairs if his house.

"Shush, Aurelia's sleeping,you will disturb her,"replied Maria.

"Sorry, here's the potion,you just have to feel it her once a day,don't forget and don't feed her more than once,"Jakob instructed Maria.

"What will happen if she's fed the pill more than once?"interrogated Maria.

"Nothing,just don't do it"

"Ok fine"

"Good,I'm drained, I'm going to bed,wake me up when it's time for dinner,"Jakob said as he retreated to his bedroom.
