I won't say school went on really fast, It's just everything that happened yesterday all over again. Except that this time, Maya came to my class, obviously not during class periods but it was after school. She came to look for me but I hid, I hid and I ran. Why the fuck was I running away from her, I just didn't want to break my one and only rule.

DON'T TALK TO ANYONE AT SCHOOL

When I got home I felt very bad, but my situation isn't really something to brag about. I can't be telling everyone what I'm going through, most of them would just laugh about it behind my back and I'm not really ready for that.

Today is the first day of my new part-time job at 'Arsona', a very huge and famous convenience store. My work hours doesn't start until like 3 hours from now so why not just go shop there. I know I'm meant to be saving my money and not wasting it but then I feel like I can use it as an oppotunity to bond with my fellow part-timer, because I don't even know his name.

As I step into the store, I'm greeted again with that same voice. I guess I didn't realize until now but then his voice is kind of deep and husky, it wasn't bad though, not at all. Maybe because it was cold and all yesterday so I wasn't in my right senses, but this part-timer is definitely good-looking, not good-looking as in okay-he's-fine but good-looking as in simp material. And once again I don't respond to his earlier question stating...

Him: What would you like to buy?

I highly doubt that he isn't aware that we are co-workers, maybe he's just being professional. Honestly, I didn't come here with exactly something to buy in mind.

Me: Do you have like this thingy?

Him: Thingy? What thingy?

I don't look at the thing I point after his response but then his next response makes me regret it.

Him: Pads?

Me: Fucking hell! No! That isn't what I was talking about.

He raises an eyebrow, he raised his eyebrow, that's a talent.

Me: I was looking for popcorn, do you have any? The salty ones in particular.

Who doesn't love salty popcorn, if you've never tasted it you need to try it, it's perfection on another level.

Him: It's over there.

He points at the snack section and I make my way over there. I grab the popcorn and head back to the counter, he scans it, I pay, but as I was about leave I stop, turn around and then I look at him straight in those light brown eyes and ask...

Me: What's your name?

Him: What do you need my name for?

Me: What if I need you to help me find something?

Him: But you don't.

Me: For future purposes.

Him: Nicole.

Me: I'm serious.

Please let his name be something cool, please.

Him: Xavier.

OMG!!!

Me: Alright.

I walk out of the store very satisfied with the name I just heard. I'm so happy with what God has given me so far, a good job, a good job that gives me a sensible pay, a hot guy I get to see at that job and I'm loved by the boss at that job.

I won't say I was counting down the hours and minutes I have till my job starts but then I was really excited. I got there an extra 5 minutes early to just see Xavier before he leaves, I wasn't exactly watching him or anything. It took me 2 minutes to decide whether I was going to enter while he was in there or wait for him to leave before I enter, I decided to enter while he's still there.
