FIRST NIGHT
Kakucho sighed and let himself fall onto his bed. He just finished taking a shower after a long day of decorating and tidying his new room.
He turned his head towards the nightstand and stared at the amethyst bracelet he left on the small table before taking his shower.
The noirette carefully took the bracelet and observed how beautifully it glistened in the moonlight. The bracelet was made of real amethyst. The purple of the stone resembled the eyes of his now deceased king, Kurokawa Izana.
Thinking about his old best friend was something Kakucho only allowed himself to do when he was alone, in case he would get too emotional and let the tears fall. But today, tonight, it was harder than ever.
He cried, hard. For more than 10 minutes straight. Whenever he would mourn the death of his king, he would never cry for so long. Tonight was particularly awful and he had no idea why. He sighed to himself and gently threw the bracelet on its original place before blacking out.
Takeomi was on his balcony. He was playing with the lighter he used to light his cheap brand of cigarettes. His room was very simple and probably the smallest of all, it didn't bother him, he liked it like that.
Being near Sanzu everyday was a pain for the advisor. He tried hard to fix his relationship with his little brother to no avail. The pinkette ignored, refused or even insulted Takeomi whenever he tried to start a conversation. The only times when Sanzu allowed his brother to talk to him, was during meetings and for business.
Takeomi stubbed his cigarette in the ashtray next to him and entered his room before closing the balcony's door behind him. The balcony's door was transparent, like a big window. He closed the curtains and turned the lights off before sitting on his bed.
Was he going to fall asleep, or was he going to think about how he could've made it better, more comfortable for his baby brother back then? Or about how he could've saved his sister ten years ago?
He groaned at the bad memories and slid into his covers, closing his eyes and forcing himself to sleep.
Kokonoi woke up in a cold sweat. He was panting and his limbs were shaky. He had a nightmare, a nightmare about them. It's been a while since he hadn't been woken up by such a violent nightmare.
He slowly sat on his bed and hugged his knees. He stared at the end of his bed. He was so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed the tears streaming down his beautiful face.
He could see her clearly, he could hear her laugh, see her beautiful blond hair being blown by the soft wind, her beautiful green eyes and he could feel her soft skin.
He hiccuped and gagged before running in the bathroom. He slapped the switch clumsy and the bright light blinded him. He grabbed the sink in front of him and waited for his vomit to escape his mouth and fall into the white sink. But the vomit never came.
He stood in front of the mirror and stared at his reflection. He was drenched in sweat and his hair was messy. But his face was as beautiful as always. He smiled to himself and looked at the Littlest Pet Shop blond golden retriever Takeomi gave him as a joke. The executive bit his lip and went back to bed.
"Breath in..." Rindou's lungs filled themselves with air "Breath out..."
Ran watched his brother stretch before going to bed
