CAUCUS

Mikey was the first out of the eight men to be awake, it's not like he had slept a lot anyways.

The slim male left his room after washing his face, not caring that the noise of the running water and him opening and closing the door like a maniac could potentially wake up his roommate. Which, in fact, did wake up his pink haired roommate.

Sanzu groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He looked around before blinking slowly and sighing to himself. "Better get ready now."

"Ran...Ran!" Ran was woken up by Rindou's soft calls and pushes. The older Haitani groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He looked at his younger brother with a confused look as Rindou got off his bed and started getting ready for the day.

"Good morning, Rindou. What are you doing?" The older brother yawned and stretched before jumping off of his bed, making his baby brother flinch. "Ran, man, please. There's, like, a ladder, use it. And I'm gettin' ready." Ran smirked and put his arm around his brother's shoulders.

He hugged Rindou and laughed. "Not even a little good morning?" Rindou sighed and pushed his brother's face away from his. "Your breath stinks... And whatever, mornin'. I swear, I've been shakin' you and callin' your name for five minutes."

Rindou took his headphones and put his flippers on. "'m goin' downstairs. Hurry up or I'll eat your breakfast." Ran entered the bathroom after waving lazily at Rindou. "Coming in a second, captain."

Kakucho put the plates full of food on the table one by one. He was the only one who actually enjoyed cooking so he volunteered to be the cook.

Kanji touched Kakucho's shoulder, making the noirette flinch. "Wow! I'm sorry, Kakucho. Had a good night?" The taller male sat on a chair, waiting for his younger friend to answer.

Kakucho paused before sitting down next to Kanji. "It was alright. The beds are very comfortable. How about you, Kanji?" Kanji nodded and took a bite of the omelet cooked by Kakucho. "Wow, it's very good. Thank you, kid." The ravenette rolled his eyes and scoffed, taking a bite of his own omelet. "After all these years, you still call me "kid"."

Kanji laughed. "It's just a little nickname I gave ya. You've called me Mochi before, haven't you?" Kakucho shook his head "I haven't." "Oh."

You were there. You've been there. But why were they here? It's not their home, it's yours. How dare they claim it as theirs?

You never accepted someone to come live in your house. The house you've been keeping clean and perfect for more than ten years now. Why were humans so stubborn? Why couldn't they understand that this house was already occupied?

You've chased anyone who has tried to make this house theirs. From the annoying potheads to curious journalists, you've chased everyone. You even killed a detective who was trying to convince the whole region that your murder was actually a suicide. What kind of warning do they need to stay away from your house, from you?

These men, they're criminals. You know it, you've heard what they were talking about yesterday. Prostitution, murder, illegal substances dealing and illegal weapon selling. All of these crimes were part of their daily life and you do not want to be involved with them. You felt so sick at the idea of protecting and covering criminals. You'll do anything to make them leave, anything.
