It's the week after solo projects were due and we're on Christmas break now. My and Taehyun's anniversary is today, and I have special plans for the special occasion.

I spent the night at Taehyun's place since he can't go full days leaving his little sister alone and I struggle with being away from him.

My eyes flutter open and I feel my arms wrapped around Taehyun's tiny waist and my head resting on top of his, still in the same position from when we fell asleep. I think about how lucky I am to be able to hold him in my arms. How I'm the only one able to hold him in my arms.

I start softly rubbing my cheek against his forehead and also rubbing circles on his back, giving comfort to him through his sleep but also sending myself a sense of relaxation. My eyes droop slightly, my body wanting to continue resting. But I know I can't because of what day it is, so I begrudgingly start to slip my arms out from under Taehyun's small torso as I sit up straight.

In the process of this, Taehyun's eyes flutter open. He awakes with a small whine as he also slowly sits up, relying on his hands and elbows as he rises.

He looks still half-asleep so I try to coax him back into his slumber.

I softly push him back down while whispering, "Shh, it's okay Bambi, go back to sleep.."

He holds my hand to his chest as he falls back into the mattress, muttering incoherent words as he does so.

I gently rub circles on his shoulder with my thumb and wait for him to be fully asleep before slipping my hand out of his grasp, making sure to not wake him this time, and get out of the bed to go into the bathroom before going to the kitchen.

When I walk out of the bathroom, my attention is diverted by a noise coming from the living room. Sounds like cartoons, the reason being that Taehyun's sister has presumably woken up.

When I check the living room, unsurprisingly, I see a tiny seven-year-old body sitting on the floor in front of the couch, watching tv while huddled in a fluffy blanket.

"Good morning Taeyeonie~," I say, simultaneously going to have a seat beside the small girl.

"Huh?.. Oh! Good morning Beomie Oppa!"

I give a small smile and ruffle her hair.

"Whatcha watching?"

On the tv looks like some cute but mildly weird cartoon. What I presume to be the main character is chasing around another person –that doesn't quite seem to like them– with heart eyes.

She shrugs, "I don't know what it's called. But it looked entertaining so I decided to leave it."

"Entertaining is a big word. You seem to know a lot for someone so young." I tease, an amused smile playing on my face.

"Oppa.. I'm seven.. not three," She says with a hint of sass in her voice, side-eyeing me.

"And you have a lot of attitude for someone your age, too."

"Got it from my Taehyunnie Oppa," She states proudly.

"I can tell," I say as a chuckle escapes my lips.

There's a moment of silence before I ask, "Do you know what today is?"

She turns to face me with a look of confusion, "No? What's today Beomie Oppa?"

"It's me and Taehyunnie's anniversary. You know what an anniversary is?"

"Of course Beomie Oppa. My friends said that their parents have anniversaries because they were together for a long long time."
