I frantically wake up to banging on my bedroom door. "Ellie! Wake up, we need to leave!" Dustin yells, nearly ripping my door of its hinges. "What?" I groan, rubbing my eyes. He standing in front of me, frantically trying to catch his breath. I stare at him wide eyed as he pants. "Max said something happened at Eddie's trailer and there's police everywhere. She said she saw him and Chrissy go in last night, and they were carrying Chrissy out in a body bag this morning..." I cut off his rant. "I'm sorry...Max said she saw Chrissy and Eddie going into Eddie's trailer together?" I question. I hope to god he doesn't say what I think he's going to say. "Yeah and she also said someone else was there too..." He pauses. I take a deep breath waiting for the questions to start. "She said she couldn't tell who it was. But whoever it was knows what happened, and no one has seen Eddie. So he's ruled out." He sighs. A wave of relief washes over me as I realize I wasn't seen at Eddie's last night. Dustin goes on to further explain to me that we need to go, get help and find Eddie.

I get dressed and head down stairs, grabbing my car keys. "We need to go pick up Max and go find Steve and Robin." Dustin dictates, as I drive through town. We pull into the trailer park and are stopped by the cops. "This is a crime scene, no one in or out." Officer Callahan says to us. "We're here to pick up a friend." I say with smile, as Max walks towards my car. "See, here she is now." Max enters the car, and looks at me in the mirror with the glare on her face. Oh shit, she definitely saw me. "Okay, so Robin and Steve have a shift at Family Video today." I say, driving towards the store. "We need to think of places where Eddie would go."

I park and the three of us frantically run into Family Video. "Hey, Steve." Dustin says. "You see this?" Steve interjects. "How many phones do you have?" Dustin says frantically. "Someone was murdered." Steve responds. I roll my eyes at him. "Can you just listen." I say giving him a glare. "How many phones do you have?!" Dustin says impatiently. "Two. Why?" Steve responds. "Technically three, if you count Keith's." Robin corrects him. Dustin looks at Max and I, "Yeah, three works." He says, jumping over the counter. As Dustin and Steve continue to argue, Max and I roll our eyes at them.  She takes a deep breath and starts to fill them in on everything she saw from last night. After making multiple frantic phone calls, Max hangs up and turns to us, "Hey, guys, I might have a lead." She says.

She goes on to tell us about Eddie's apparent drug dealer, Reefer Rick and how sometimes he crashes at his house. "So where does this Reefer Rick guy live?" Robin questions, looking at me. "See no one knows...he's more of a...a legend than someone that people actually know." Max continues. We all groan. As we continue to brainstorm more ideas, I can't help but think Eddie is out there, scared. I pull Robin off to the side. "I need to tell you something, but you have to promise me you will not say a single word." I whisper to her. She smirks at me. "I was with Eddie last night..." I say, avoiding her gaze. "WHAT?!" She yells, causing the other three to turn their heads and look at us. "Robin, I swear to god, this is why I don't tell you anything." I groan, taking a seat on the floor behind the counter. "Well...." She pauses. "What happened?" I look down at my hands in my lap and take a deep breath. I explain everything to her. "I know it's totally sad that Chrissy died...BUT YOU ALMOST KISSED EDDIE MUNSON." She says loudly. I cover her mouth with my hand and shush her. She continues to ask the necessary questions to make this all make sense in her mind.

Once we have a lead, we all hop in Steve's car and drive out to Lovers Lake. After what felt like an eternity, we arrive at Reefer Rick's. We walk up to the front door and Dustin begins frantically ringing the doorbell. "Okay. Well, that's settled. I guess he's not here." Steve says, unenthusiastically. "Eddie! It's Dustin." Dustin begins to yell. As he continues to yell, Robin and I start looking in the windows. "Hey, guys?" Max yells, walking towards the boat house in the back. We slowly creep around the perimeter, looking in all the windows. I start to walk towards the door when Steve stops me. "Are you insane?" He questions. Well considering the last 24 hours of my life... I may be. "If I was hiding...I'd be inside." I say jokingly.
