"ALYSSA," I HEARD my name whispered quietly in my ear. When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying in my bed. I subtly looked around but there was no one else in the room.

I tried to sit up but immediate pain shot throughout my body, causing me to groan. My door opened slowly and Kai walked in.

"Oh good, you're awake." He smiled as he sat down in the chair close to my bed. "I wasn't sure how long you would be out for."

"How long was I out for?" I asked.

"Four months,"

My eyes grew big in disbelief.

"Four months?" I practically yelled. "Really?"

"I'm kidding," Kai laughed. "You've only been out for six days."

"Six says?" I repeated.

Kai nodded, "I brought you up here cause I thought it'd be more comfortable than lying on the floor. I also I brought you a change of clothes. They're lying on top of the dresser."

"You brought me a change of clothes?"

"Well I figured you'd want out of your bloody clothes," he stated, leaning back in his chair. "But since you were unconscious, I figured I should let you do it yourself when you woke up. Besides I wanted my first time seeing you naked to be with your consent."

Kai winked and I rolled my eyes in annoyance. I guess we were back to the heavy flirting he did. After the stunt he pulled with almost kissing me, I couldn't help but wonder if the flirting was about to get even worse.

"Alyssa," I heard as if it were whispered in my ear.

I slowly look around but all I could see was Kai still sitting in the chair and looking at me strangely.

"Could I uh- have a minute to change?" I asked.

"Don't let me stop you," Kai playfully smirked.

"Seriously, get out Kai."

Kai rolled his eyes and walked out of the room and I quickly closed the door behind him. Something felt different. Not in a good way.

I walked into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. The collar of my shirt was stained with blood but my face was clean. Kai must've cleaned my face while I was dead. My eyes, however, were bloodshot and my head was pounding. I looked like a ghost and I felt like one too.

In attempt to make myself feel somewhat normal, I took a shower. As the warm water hit my face, I found myself feeling a little more human.

"Alyssa can you hear me?"

I quickly turned around but one was there. I peaked outside the shower but all that was there was the pile of clothes I had left lying on the floor. I turned off the water and dried myself off, trying my best to convince myself that I'm just paranoid.
