MY EYES SHOT open as I gasped for air. I wasn't dead. I knew I wasn't dead because I was lying on the floor of the bar that I had just previously been attacked in. Music was still blaring throughout the bar. Thankfully, a better song was playing.

Back in black.
I hit the sack.
It's been too long,
I'm glad to be back.
Yes, I'm let loose
from the noose...

I slowly managed to sit up. My head was pounding and my body was sore all over. It as if someone had run me over with an eighteen wheeler and then tried to sow me back together.

"Oh you're alive" a man's voice said in a little bit of a shocked tone. I turned my head to see the man who attacked me, restored to full health. He stood at the bar making some drink concoction as he bobs his head to the music.

'Cause I'm back
Yes, I'm back
Well, I'm back
Yes, I'm back
Well, I'm back, back
Well, I'm back in black
Yes, I'm back in black

"Did you think you killed me?" I asked.

"Oh no, I definitely killed you." He said without hesitation. My heart dropped. "Sorry about that. All that time chained up to a chair made me kind of lose control."

"If you killed me, how am I still here?"

The man shrugged casually as he took a sip of his drink. "That's what I'm confused about myself. This prison world was created for me so I can't die, but I don't know why you didn't."

This guy really didn't seem like he felt bad for killing me. Maybe he didn't care that he lost control. Whatever reason it was, it made me feel uneasy.

"Your prison world?" I questioned.

"That's what I just said isn't it?" He asked after he took another sip. "Who are you?"

"I could ask you the same thing." I said as I finally manage to stand on my feet.

"Ah, ah, ah." He said shaking his head, slowly walking towards me. "I asked you first."

I began to back away but, I ended up backing into the same wall he pinned me against when he killed me. I definitely do not want to repeat the past.

"Alyssa" I gulped. "Alyssa Sinclair."

"Well Alyssa Sinclair," he said with a smirk across his face. I couldn't tell what he was thinking, but I couldn't help but be worried. He did kill me after all. He continued to walk closer to me and I felt trapped against this wall once again. "Seems like we're-"

"Motus!" I said, sticking my arm out in front of me. I threw him backwards into the stereo, causing it to break.

"That was the first good song I've heard in two years." He grunted.
