PERCY JACKSON AND CHAOS AGAIN

CHAPTER 6: THE QUEST STARTS

ANNABETH

The quest started at noon only on the same day as the prophecy was announced. It was happening exactly like the Percy told. Argus dropped them at the Greyhound station from where they boarded the us to Oklahoma. They were off to Piper. Annabeth and Percy had sit together to discuss without anyone else hearing. Whenever will Sadie try to turn back to talk to them the conductor of the bus will give her a glare.

"It is happening exactly as last time. You think we would fail again?" Annabeth asked. Percy gave his point of view, "We know that Chaos is already almost out and nobody will go to Tarturus again."

It took almost a day and with a manticore attack. It was probably the twin of Dr. Thorn as Percy said. The attack unlike last time, was because of the children of every big three god. After reaching they again saw the empousa and it happened the same. Piper took them through the tunnels and Sadie got her name wrong. 

Annabeth noticed that Piper was probably the first daughter of Aphrodite who like travelling through sewer tunnels. She saw Carter being distracted by a tunnel. She saw Percy come to him. She inched closer to hear what they were saying.

"It's probably your imagination" said Percy. "No, I am sure I heard it" Carter. "Carter, don't worry. That happens when you are in stress. You need to cool down" Percy told. "Maybe you are right" Carter agreed. Percy had told Annabeth that Carter told him that Carter was not only going down into Tar - hell to stop Chaos but to save Set too. That will change his mind.

They got to Piper's house. They had a cup of tea and planned to sleep there. The girls shared one room and the boys other. Phoebe and Thalia had already slept but Annabeth and Piper were still awake. "Have you ever felt that you are already in a problem and then somebody come puts weight of all world on you" said Annabeth.

"No, must be good" Piper chuckled and tried lighter the mood. Annabeth smiled. "Well Jason did" said Piper. That darkened the mood again.

In dreams, she was standing in the Primordial Council. It was exactly like Percy described. She saw that near left side a waterfall was there and on the right side a volcano erupted. It was beautiful but had some kind of pressure on her mind.

Primordials were sitting on the thrones in large forms . Annabeth noticed that the center seat and one more seat had nobody sitting on it. Then she saw Tarturus and Nyx. She thought to be humble and restrained.

Annabeth noticed that Ouranos who was exactly like he was depicted in the myths, "We are the elders of this universe, the primordials. Chaos created us. Gaea and Chaos were swallowed in darkness and that had to pass on to Kronos. You already know that due to that friend of yours."

She realized that they were talking about Percy, "Don't say that! You were the only one who chose him to travel back to this time. It is your fault." "We would never do that. I would never break the laws of time. I respect them" said Chronus.

"Not even to save the universe! Not even to save it's people! Not even to save yourselves?" exclaimed Annabeth. The Primordials had not answer to this, "Very well. We would not punish you. But there will be consequences too."

Suddenly she traveled onto earth and into her body like a soul coming back to its body and woke up in sweat. She realized she was alone in the room. She came out of the room.

She saw everyone at the dining table. They were ready to go. "Find Leo, he will help you" Piper said. Then she realized why were they traveling to Camp Jupiter at all? The gem was under the liberty island.
