CHAPTER 10: INVADING CAMP HALF BLOOD

MAGNUS

It was all good until April 1 arrived. Magnus knows it is April Fools day. Well, just wait till this date makes history. On this day some monsters arrived. Magnus knows stating it, it seems so normal and usual. But wait till you read their descriptions.

There were big stormy humanoid air people, then there were creatures which Magnus did not knew about, they had the face and head of a lion, the eyes of a eagle, body of a rhino, wings of a sparrow and a tail of dinosaur. Then there were a dozen of giant, monster serpent-like creatures and some demons and, almost a hundred of monsters and some bad demigods and evil magicians (probably).

Like it wasn't that it was all good. Before Chaos's monsters came, there was pressure about him coming but now it got crazy. They had practiced a lot of strategies and mastered in them. But after seeing Chaos armies, they forgot everything they did. Oh no! Don't remind him. He knows similar thing happened to him vefore.

Clarisse with her team was on Border Patrol when they arrived. They entered Camp's border with ease even when the magical boundaries were at the best. And they are still fighting them. Right now Magnus is defeating a monster with a head of bull and body of a man.

It was about to push its horn into his chest when his hand moved by itself and killed it by slicing at its stomach. It evaporated into Golden dust. "Jack! You saved my life" Magnus said to his sword. He knows it seemed weird because swords aren't a type of organism but his sword was a living thing.

Then few being large monsters like black mastiffs with glowing red eyes. lunged at him. He stabbed one and sliced at another. Magnus thought that they would evaporate but they didn't. Magnus heard Grover singing with some pipe-like structure. "My reed pipes will help. Also nature spirits are on the way to help us" he said. The dogs attacked at them again.

Then Magnus heard some demigods yelling, "Fire!" He turned and saw them. They were firing some kind of canons at the monsters. "Where would you get those from?" Magnus asked. "Leo left some of these in the Bunker 9. We have been improving and making more like them. Very useful, they are" A son of Hephaestus said. Magnus could see that. The impact was massive. "Nice" Magnus praised.

The monsters started retreating after that but Magnus had a feeling that they weren't because of the canons. Something was fishy. Chaos's armies got out out of the boundaries and stood in attention. Magnus counted that 16 demigods were injured and 4 demigods had lost their lives. Few of Chaos's soldiers were dead too.

Magnus helped other demigods carry the injured demigods to infirmary. He noticed that one of the demigods dead was Aetos. Now, Magnus felt bad that he knocked him out the last day.

After half an hour, Chiron announced that he had gotten a message from the commander of Army that the armies of Chaos were giving them a break and would attack soon again. Magnus saw the clock that it was 3 in the afternoon.

Around 5, they attacked again but retreated after 2 and half hours. During this attack Magnus had defeated 3 Scythian Dracaenaes, a drakon(with help of Hephaestus Cabin) and 6 more helhounds. Magnus had never felt this much pressure ever. 7 demigods were injured and a daughter of Apollo was dead.

Sometime after that, they heard loud sounds from the Atlantic Ocean. All demigods crowded there. They saw a horse running over water. The scenery was magnificent. Percy dropped down from the horse, "Hi?"

"Percy! I see you brought Hazel too" Chiron exclaimed. "We have more things to talk about" Percy said. "Yes, things like why you failed to stop Chaos" Clarrise huffed. He has not won till now" Percy replied, "Now Magnus, where is the gem?"

Suddenly a whoosh sound came from the sky and a person a little taller than normal man dropped onto the ground. "Wait! I have seen him sitting in the Primordial council" Percy exclaimed. "In what council?" Magnus asked. "My name is Order, the brother of Chaos and I have come to help you."
