Dhruv pov

I am standing on the tip of my toes on this cold night. God! Why did you gave me such a useless mind ? Its already 11.45 just 15 more minutes and ananya birthday will be over.

And here i am standing near her room window not knowing how to open it.

I again try to push the window as noiseless as possible but suddenly the window opened and i saw ananya and......

Boom

I fell down from 1st floor.. PERFECT PERFECT JUST PERFECT.

Ananya pov

I saw something strange near my window so went to open it and when i did i saw dhruv face up close and the next second i saw him on our garden floor

It took me 5 minutes to understand the situation and as soon as i did i rushed downstairs.

Good thing everyone is asleep. I unlocked the door without making noice and went out.

As soon as i reached the garden i saw dhruv patting the dust off him. When i took a close look i saw a small cut near his elbow maybe a branch has scratched him.

When he saw me he smiled showing his 32 teeth but i kept my cold face all along. I want to treat his wounds and ask him if there is pain somewhere.

But its just my shi*ty ego didn't let me do those ''what are you doing here ?'' I asked in my coldest voice

Dhruv pov

Sh*t she is angry. Of course you deserve it dhruv for making such a useless birthday plan.

''Ummm i... I was just crossing by'' fu*k your excuses Mr.dhruv vikram

''So you were crossing by near my window ?'' Ananya rised her single eyebrow

I looked at the time. Thank god its just 11.57 ''Happy birthday ananya'' i saw her reaction soften a bit just a bit

''So you know how to wish huh ?'' She asked me but clearly the sarcasm is dripping from her words.

''Actually i planned to celebrate your birthday in a different way but it turned out........'' I started to blabber whatever came in my mouth

''Heyyy relax. Anyway thanks for the wish though'' she came closer and patted my shoulder

I pulled her hands ''come with me'' and started to walk. ''What? Where? Just like this?'' She kept asking questions

''Its a surprise and you look good moreover no one other than me gonna see you'' i said this fastening my seat belts and ananya's too

She kept asking me where i was taking her but i just smiled and speed up after a limit she started to clutch on to her seat belt because of how fast i am driving.

I stopped at our destination and when i looked at ananya she was closing her eyes tightly which kinda looked cute i patted her shoulder.

She opened her eyes and blinked few times before glaring me ''get down we are here'' she got down.

''Did you plan to murder me on my birthday ?'' She asked looking at the surrounding. I chuckled and blindfold her.

''Hey dhruv listen if you try to do something i am sure i would kill you when i become a spirit i won't let ypu off the hook. Did you hear me ?'' She was blabbering about how she is gonna kill me after she become a ghost.

Did she really think i am going to kill her ? I slowly moved towards her ears and whispered ''open now'' just like how she did to me in the restaurant and moved a bit.

Ananya pov

I saw a pond which was fully covered in lanterns and near that there a was small candle light dinner

I picked one of the lantern in the pond and on one side of the lantern ''Happy birthday'' written and on the other side those magical words were written which i thought i would first say to dhruv ''I love you💓''

i was overwhelmed. i don't like extra things but just the thought of how much effort he put into this melt my heart.

I turned towards dhruv to see him already looking at me with a emotion which no one has ever showed me. I was about to speak something but he kept his finger on my lips and shook his head saying no.

''Lets have our dessert date first'' he took my hand and served me my fav choco truffle first and i saw more of my fav desserts even gulab jaamun.

I smiled at him and started to devour the food easily forgetting what happened just now

Dhruv pov

I smiled at ananya how she forget everything after she saw the desserts. Am i not important when compared to food ?

*sigh*

After she completed her dessert we sat near the pond for sometime before leaving

I didn't ask for her answer i don't wanna rush her. We both sat inside the car.

All this while we were silent. But this silence was a comfortable one. However my heart is beating like crazy for her answer

We reached her house. She got down i too get down and we both stand opposite to each other ''ummm'' i said somehow wanted to start a conversation

''Bye then'' she said out of the blue ''o..ok bye'' i saw her retreating figure going inside her house. I sighed and turned to enter my car

*smack*

All of a sudden i got a smack on back of my head when i turned ananya pounced on me and hugged me tight really tight and whispered in my ears

''If i didn't say won't you ask my answer huh ? Lets escape from the single world'' she gave me tight squeeze and ran inside not before winking😉

ahhhhh this girl is going to be the death of me
