Through the heart || Midari ikishima

Chapter five

I slowly opened the office door. Midari was sat at a desk , messing with a gun. Seeing her sent a shiver down my spine , something about her just... I couldn't explain it even if I wanted to.

"Oh good you're back , I was going to come get you- wait why are you back?" She put the gun down and turned to face me.

"Umm..." I looked away awkwardly. "I may have slapped a girl.."

"HA! Nice one!" She laughed standing up. "We gotta report that to the prez though. Which will be easy enough cause there's a meeting anyways." She walked straight out the door past me. "Come along."

I followed her back to the student council room , what a great first day this was. After the meeting I'm assuming it will be time to go home.

"Kay so , we are a bit late." Midari confessed , suddenly she stopped. "I have the best fucking idea ever."

"Remember, either stone cold face or look proud of yourself." Midari reminded me as we got to the room.

"Of course." I responded , tucking the gun into my skirt waistband. Midari turned to face me, moving my shirt slightly so a bit more of the bra showed. To put it into simple words , I looked like a slut.

Midari kicked the doors open , hitting the bottom near the floor, and walked in. I was right on her tail. Kirari , who had been speaking , stopped mid sentence.

We were met with silence as we talked to the table. Most awkward walk of my life , still I kept the slight smirk plastered on my face.

I made eye contact with Kirari as I sat down, she was looking like she wanted to kill me there and then.

"That is the cutest bra ever!" The girl with pink hair exclaimed.

"Oh-! Thank you..?" I wasn't sure on her name.

"Oh right ! I'm Yumemi."

"Oh nice , well im-" i went to respond to her but got interrupted by the school bell , turns out me and midari were later than i thought.

"...dismissed." kirari stood up , followed by ririka and left the room. As the door shut behind them midari walked over to me.

"What a bunch of stuck ups." she shook her head laughing slightly. "I would have assumed you to be like them." she leant against runas chair , not that runa even noticed she was stuck into a game of some sort.

"Ive never really spent time with them." i shrugged , dont get me wrong i missed them more than anything but it is what it is.

"Well, it looks as if they have driven away without you." a boy said as he picked up his bag to leave.

I got up and walked over to the window in time to see the car leave the school grounds , i guess this was punishment for being late. I watched the rain pour down , then to my horror i realised i could hear thunder.

"Oh for fuck sake." i muttered walking back to my chair and grabbing my bag. "I'll see you tomorrow." i gave midari a slight wave then left the room. As i walked down the empty staircases i connected my headphones. However to my horror , I realised my umbrella wasn't in my bag, i must have left it in the car.

I sighed , put my phone in my bag and stepped out into the pouring rain , it was a twenty minute walk home , and i would be lying if i wasn't a bit self conscious about the way i looked. As i walked i started to think about how I got myself here.

I wondered if my mother would be disappointed in me , im sure everyone else in the house would be. I guess , in a way, I'm just as disappointed in her. How could she marry someone like byaka momobami. I don't think I've ever met a crueler man in my life , not that it matters much as he's never home. My problem was the twins , more Kirari. Ririka never talked to me which , I'll admit it bothered me , but at least she wasn't horrible. Kirari just seemed to enjoy making my life a living hell.

Suddenly the thunder crashed loudly overhead startlingly, I jumped slightly , slipped over and crashed down into a mud filled puddle.

"Oh for fuck sake." I stood up, Now covered in muddy water. I made my way back to the house as quick as possible. I entered through the main gates and started walking up the drive way. What a fucking great start to my first day at school , slapped a girl, got what felt like constant bodyshaming and then this. I sighed looking for my key in my pocket.

I pushed the door open and walked in , slipping my shoes off. I heard a slight snicker from behind me as I hung my bag up , pulling my phone out of it.

"I'm so sorry , I forgot about you. Must have ... slipped my mind." Kirari cooed at me.

"Oh fuck off Kirari." I snapped turning to face her , all of a sudden filled with pure anger. "Can you hop off my dick for like two minutes?" I pushed past her and walked to my bedroom , slamming the door behind me.

As I got to my bedroom I heard the dinner bell , meaning I had ten minutes until a family dinner.

I threw my phone on my bed and got changed into my dinner dress before quickly brushing my hair and making my way back downstairs.
