The rest of the night I lingered by the bar, switching between conversations. Max had just left me with another tray of shots when Valtteri had glanced over to see me on my own and decided to come join me.

"Hey stranger. You avoiding conversation too?"

"Yep."

"Well. Can I buy you a drink?" He asked.

"It's an open bar but yes I will accept your drink." I chuckled.

"Toto, wants us and Redbull to do a team building exercise. I dipped that conversation as soon as I could." He said turning to the barman and ordering us both drinks.

"What was this about team building." I said taking a big sip of my drink and placing it back on the bar.

"Well, I think it involves the drivers and a few of the team, doing activities on a holiday?" He said drinking some of his drink and leaning back to face me.

"What kind of activities?" I smirked and he laughed.

"Not the kind we both want."

"Oh how boring, I've always wanted to go snowboarding." I said sighing sarcastically.

"Hmmm." He raised his eyebrows and chuckled.

We both sighed. I glanced over to the conversation that Valtteri was talking about. Horner was sat with Toto and their wives, an unusual sight at the least. The men rarely got along and wouldn't be seen dead around each other. However, I watched as Christian ordered another drink, despite the 5 empty glasses infront of him already as the waiter walked past. Geri, sat next to him rolled her eyes, seeming to mutter something and got up to go to the bathroom. Susie, sat across from them, seemed to give a small look to her husband, Toto, before disappearing off to follow Geri.

I glanced back over to Valtteri and he was already staring at me, his eyes wandering my body. He still had the lipstick stain on his lips and it caused me to smirk.

"You feel like getting out of here?" He lent forward and whispered so no one overheard.

"I thought you would never ask." I smirked before I downed the remainder of my drink and leaving the empty glass on the bar.

Valtteri didn't even attempt to finish his glass and began dragging my hand towards the door. I quickly grabbed my phone before trailing behind. I glanced around to make sure no one saw us leave together.

At least I can do one sensible thing drunk.

We barely made it back to the hotel, every step I took went a different direction and Valtteri practically carried me the whole way back. I had removed my heels about halfway there and they were now dangling by my side in my hands. It took us at least half an hour to walk the distance to the hotel , which had taken us five minutes the first time.

Now stood in the elevator, Valtteri leaning over to press the silver 8 on the panel. He glanced back at me and smiled as I continued to giggle, giddy with the amount of alcohol I had drunk. His face moved closer to mine, the alcohol evident in his breath as he placed a small peck on my lips.

This seemed to be a common occurrence in elevators.

Suddenly, the doors pinged again and we jumped apart from each other. I pulled out my phone to seem busy as a couple people walked in.

"Ahhh Valtteri, I wondered where you had got to." A deep sounding voice said.

I blinked a couple times to try unblur my vision and I saw the man who had just walked in. Toto freaking Wolff. Had he just seen us? This man could squish my career like a bug and if he had just 'seen' me kissing his driver, I don't think he would be as pleased to see him. I also don't think that's the kind of team building he was on about.
