It's been a while since they start making drinks and foods for the new 'students'. Evalya and Haiqal laugh at each other, Putri probably going to blow up soon. Hope sure she won't, that would be a 'yikes' situation.
"Look at the time! We've been here for a while. I think they're already at the back of the book." Haiqal peeks at his watch, oh boy sure is late. "At least we have a good time, right Putri?" Evalya glances at Putri.
Putri didn't respond to that, she looks mad by the way she clenches the same knife. Haiqal stares at Putri, waiting for her to make a move. "Putri? You okay?" That made Putri tremble in distress.
Haiqal turns to place the cups into a beautiful tray, Putri did the same but faces Haiqal with a furious face. She runs towards Haiqal with her holding the knife in the air, wanting to stab him but Haiqal stops it with a dough roller.
"Putri! What's wrong with you?" Evalya shouts at Putri. "He deserves this. Zafirah should rest in peace after he dies!" Putri cuts the dough roller in half, ready to stab him in the stomach but fails to do so as Evalya stops her.
Haiqal chuckles softly, "I had it coming, you need to study how to properly stab someone but I'm impressed." A disbelief face is on Evalya's face. "However that makes me wonder, which Zafirah did you mean?"
"Stop making jokes, you killed Zafirah the day you exchange gifts with Evalya. That bracelet on Evalya's wrist is the proof you killed her!" Putri points out the bracelet. Haiqal smirks and starts tearing down his face resulting in Zafirah smiling softly at them.
"YOU'RE ALIVE?" Evalya shouts in shock. "I always have been, it's just I'm not the Zafirah you're looking for, right?" The girl who claims she's Zafirah but not the Zafirah they're looking for laughs at their reaction.
"No? You're the Zafirah we're looking for! Otherwise, you're her twin or something which she never told us before." Evalya murmurs. "As expected, she's a secretive person. However, I won't let you know my past or that'll kill the fun, won't it?"
"What? Everything you just said confuses me." Putri scratches her head.
"Look under."
"Under where?" Putri looks down,
"Underwear."
Zafirah knocks both of them with a punch on the face. "MY NOSE! TO THINK IT WOULD HURT TODAY?!" Evalya yells at Zafirah. "Sorry, gotta make sure my broski my dude already handled the detectives. It's gross knowing you're in love with him, honey!" Zafirah runs to the blue door leaving both laying on the floor with their nose bleeding.
------------
Zafirah barges in, seeing the three detectives lying on the ground. "Dead or Alive?" Zafirah pulls out a card, handing it to Haiqal. "Unconcious. They won't remember everything with the potion you gave me." Haiqal grabs it and sighs.
"We could've avoided using dirty work. Evalya probably hates me now." Zafirah scoffs. "If only, eh? Too bad. Come on, hide up these bodies before your silly girlfriend and her friend calls the cops. Make sure to use bleach." Zafirah crosses her arms while heading out.
"And you expect me to clean this in an hour. Unbelievable." "Do it before I kick your ass off a building next week!" Haiqal rolls his eyes. What a messy 'castle'.
------------
A figure watches Zafirah leaves the house and vanish within a second. "Why is she doing this? I thought I killed her." The figure takes a step closer to a window near the kitchen."Do you have any energy to stand up? We have to get out of here. We couldn't afford another plan except running away." Evalya offers a hand to help Putri, however Putri
"We could call the cops. We have enough evidence. Three detectives are suspected to be dead in the blue room and Haiqal might be there! Plus, we know there's an alternative version of Zafirah. She might be a copycat trying to make a bad reputation of Zafirah."As soon Putri stands up, Haiqal leans to a wall. "They'll think it's bullshit. The cops might think it's just a lie trying to get away from trouble." Haiqal seems more relaxed now since Zafirah exited the house. "What do you want now? Don't you already cause enough chaos between us? The fact that you work with that copycat." Putri tightens her fist, ready to pick up a fight.
"..."
"..."
"Yes, I work for her but I didn't just freely work for her. I have my reasons, okay?" Haiqal shakes his head in disappointment. "So? What do you want? My heart? Too bad, you killed it." Evalya scoffs.
"She's neither Zafirah's twin nor a copycat. She's more like a Zafirah's creation. She's obsessed with this cloning thing where she accidentally makes one herself." That piques Evalya and Putri's interest. A side they never thought would discover.
"Please rest first. You could lay in the living room. I won't do anything. Trust me, I've been wanting to expose Zafirah's clone's dirty work to you two. That'll be the deepest discovery you will discover in knowing Zafirah's backstory." Haiqal shoves them onto the living room and invites them to rest on the couch.
"Thank you. So this isn't all your fault, is it? I'm sorry to judge you so early but killing people is no joke. I still don't know if I should forgive you or not." Evalya lowers her head in sorrow. Putri did the same as she felt bad about it too.
"Don't worry. I don't mind if you won't forgive me because deep down, I knew what I was doing was wrong but I had to do it or... the thing I called 'my reasons' will leak. I can't share with you the reason because it's quite invading my privacy. Deep apologies from the deepest of my heart." Haiqal places his right hand on his chest and bows. Some etiquette for a 'murderer'.
A soft smile lingers on Evalya's face. "How did you know Zafirah's backstory and we don't, Haiqal?" Putri asks Haiqal, doubting him for lying. "Through Zafirah's clone. She told me the whole backstory before agreeing with me to... you know."
Yikes.
"Could you happen to tell us the full story? We wanted to know from her perspective why she's doing this. She could be doing this for her good, right?" Haiqal smiles and serious up his face. "I haven't fully understood her perspective so it would be helpful for you to share your opinions. It's basically when..."
"..."
The figure turns its back against the window. "They don't need to know, idiot. Why are you even telling them?" It shakes its head and disappears.
