"Stan."

Stan woke up from his usual trail of thought he's been having for a week now. Kyle has been distant, it was so fucking annoying. So fucking annoying.

"What's up?"

Kenny stared at Stan with worry.
They were both walking home from school together. Cartman was too busy planning vengeance on some kid he had decided to peer pressure this week, and Kyle had been getting rides from his dad the entire week, because of course he was.

"What's up with you? You've been so sad these days.. "

"I.. I haven't been sad."

"Yeah, no, you have been. It's 'cause Kyle's been so reserved lately, isn't it?"

"Wha- No! Kyle can do whatever he wants, like I care!"

Kenny looked at him with that mischievous grin basically every kid in the school had mastered,
"But you DO care, don't you? Trouble in paradise, eh?"

"No. No trouble in paradise, you moron."

"Lovers quarrel?"

"Go fuck yourself."

Stan rolled his eyes, he was really fucking mad. And Kenny was, not, helping.

"Hm.. you should probably ignore him too. Reverse psychology or some-shit."

And because Kenny had such natural talent with advice, Stan was doing the exact opposite. So obviously, he was standing infront of Kyle's door, knocking frantically every 5 minutes until someone finally opened the door,

"Yo, Stan!"

"Hey Ike. Is Kyle home?"

"Yeah. Come in! He's gonna get so mad I let you in!"

Stan looked..  miserable,
".. Why?"

"Probably 'cause you two are in looovee..!"

"Shut up."

"Or what?"

"Or I'll tell Kyle about your massive crush on kindergoth?"

".. Fine."

Ike looked away in defeat, blush covering his face.

"Kylee! Stan's here!"

"Okaaay!"

Even though he was screaming at his brother, God had Stan missed Kyle's voice. And Kyle, entirely. As he walked up to his room he was trying so hard to not grin, because this was a serious conversation they were going to have, not a tea party.

"Hey, Kyle."

".. Hey, dude."
