"EDDIE" I screamed, I ran downstairs and bumped into him as he adjusted his leather jacket.
"WHAT? WHAT WHATS WRONG?!" He asked.
"I can't find my belt." I said, I threw the pillows from the couch to the ground. "I CANT FIND THEM!"
"Jesus Christ Y/N" Eddie sighed "you almost have me a fucking heart attack"
"It's Y/N, what did you expect?" Ricky said, spreading butter on his freshly toasted bread.
"I need my belt!" I sighed "This is the first day back since extended spring break, I need to look well!"
"Who cares what you look like?" Eddie said, sitting down on the couch.
"I do! You said it yourself, I'm popular. I gotta keep up my reputation." I opened a coat closet and sighed of relief. "Found it!" I went in the tip of my toes and grabbed it from a shelf. I wrapped it around my skirt and ran upstairs.
"Y/N YOUR GONNA BE LATE!" Ricky called out.
"I KNOW" I yelled back "LET ME FIX MY MAKEUP" I reapplied my lipstick and ran downstairs. I grabbed my backpack and fixed my skirt "ready" I smiled
"Okay lets go!" Ricky said, he grabbed my keys and I walked towards Eddie. "Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" I asked
"Nah" he sighed "I'm not the type to be on time and either way, I don't think people would like it if they see me in your car."
"Why not?" I asked
"Did you forgot about my reputation? You know... the whole 'me being a serial killer' thing. And people don't know Ms. Popular is dating a freak."
"I didn't forget. I just didn't think you'd care about that." I said, crossing my arms across my chest.
"I don't" he stood up "I don't care what people think about me."
"I know" I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled. He leaned in closer but flinched.
"LETS GO" Ricky yelled from the car. I rolled my eyes and ran to the door.
"You forgot something!" Eddie smiled.
"Right!" I laughed. I came back and grabbed the collar of his jacket, I pulled him in and planted a kiss on his lips. He deepened it and I pulled away. "We're you smoking?" I asked, as I moved my tongue in my mouth, trying to get rid of the taste of cigar.
"Not in the house..." Eddie whispered
"Open your mouth" I sighed.
"No! No! No! Not the spray!"
"Open" I demanded. I grabbed a mouthwash spray and pumped it twice. Eddie scrunched his face and fake gagged as the strong taste of mouthwash planted on his tongue. I smiled and peck his lips before running out and hopping in the car.
Ricky had already turned it on so I took it out of parking, and drove to school. Once we arrived, we met up with the group. I wrapped my arm around Robins shoulder and walked with Nancy inside.
We walked to the gym where they handed out worksheets about each class. I grabbed all the ones I needed and sat down on the bleachers, waiting for an announcement the principal was about to call. Nancy and Robin sat next to me on each side. Vicky, who just finished grabbing her worksheets. Noticed us sitting together and sat down in front of Robin.
She turned her body to face her and they talked. Max and El noticed us as well and walked towards us with Mike and Will on their side. "How's your first day of Hawkins High?" I asked
"It is not like the other school I went to" El sighed "There is no... Angela here... is there?"
"Angela?" I asked
"She had problems with a girl" Will sighed
"Oooh. Well no, there isn't. And if anyones bothering you just tell me. I'll kick their asses" I smiled
"I too will kick their asses" El laughed
I smiled and looked back at the students walking in. My smiled dropped as I saw Jason and his friends sit down. He looked at me and awkwardly wave "Hi"
I awkwardly smiled and turned back towards my friends. The room suddenly got quiet and everyone turned towards the door as Eddie and some of Hellfire walked in. Eddie confusingly got his work and walked towards us.
I slightly smiled at him and Eddie winked, before getting Mike and Ricky and sitting down in the corner of the bleachers. Once the packets on the tables cleared up, the principal set up a podium in the middle of the gym and made an announcement.
"Students and staff. With the recent tragedy that occurred a few weeks prior. We have decided to change up the rest of the school year. Instead of normal classes and school work, we have decided to give you all packets in order to finish all of your grading. For the class of 86' as long as you don't fail 2 or more classes, you will graduate. And not doing these assignments will not effect your grades as much as it would in normal school. We do not want to stress our students as much as they already are... classes will go by their regular schedule. Teachers will be there to help you with work, and to grade your assignments. Thank you for your time"
Everyone got up and headed towards their classes. I walked towards first period after dropping off Robin and Nancy to their classes. I sat down and started working on the first packet. I didn't really need to do them, my grades were okay. But getting them up wouldn't hurt.
I felt someone watching me so I turned towards the direction. Jason, on the other side of the room. Quiet watched. I gave him a confusing look but he sighed and walked up to my desk. He sat down on the empty one next to me and placed his stuff down.
"Do you forgive me?" He asked
I gave him a straight face, and sighed "you beat the shit out of my little brother... and accused my friend of witchcraft"
"You don't understand what I saw."
"What did you see exactly?"
Jason looked around and inched closer. "Your friend... May... or... Mag..."
"Max" i corrected
"Right! Max... she was on the ground. Her eyes were twitching and pulled back. Lucas and Ricky were keeping her like that. She lifted into the air! And her arm broke in front of us! And... and afterwards! The earthquake hit..."
"Your sounding crazy" I sighed "Are you sure it wasn't the alcohol you've been drinking."
"I may not have been sober. But I know what I saw"
"Jason..."
"Please... believe me." Jason stared at me with sadness in his eyes. I was still angry at him for the things he did. But I know he only did them because he wanted justice for Chrissy.
"Do you know who killed Chrissy?" I asked "it was that guy. Didn't you hear the news? He broke out of prison a state away and did rituals. Why would Ricky and Lucas even be a part of that? Lucas was with you basically the entire time the things happened and Ricky was with me. If I knew anything, I would have told you."
"Please"
"Jason... you accused someone who didn't do anything, that they killed people. And you were proven wrong. Aren't you tired of a fight you can't even fight in?"
"I know Eddie had something to do with it."
"Do you have any proof?"
"Well... no but-"
"Do you have photos...? Other witnesses?"
"Y/N..."
"You can't put the blame on him. He did nothing."
Jason looked at me, I can tell he felt guilty. "Your right... but the second I find any proof he was envolved. I will go after him."
"Whatever you say" I sighed
I worked on the packets some more until next class, I sat down, this time next to Robin. Rest of school went by quickly. I mainly worked on packets and or talked with my classmates. Once school was over Ricky and I headed home.
