??? POV
It was full moon, perfect to watch what the mortals are doing on their realm, it's been a while since i didn't find anyone worthy enough to enter my castle, my subjects are strong, but i need someone to carry the title of champion.
???:"My queen of blood and moon...Annalise" My most loyal subject, Lady Maria, bowed to me and walked to stand by my throne. "Have you found anyone?" She asked like usual, she's the one responsible to train new hunters or knights to protect us.
Annalise:"Not yet my sweet guard, it's been long days, and no one worthy enough." I said gaining a small nod from Maria. "Wait..." i said, Maria looked from the side of her eyes. "well, i must say there is two kids that i was looking a few months, they worked together a lot at night, so i imagine that they might much more united at day." I said to her.
Maria:"And which one will it be?" She asked.
Annalise:"there's a man with a torch walking to the orphanage, revenge is what he seek. The whole house was set on fire in instants." I said making her a bit surprised.
Maria:"Want me to help the one you chose?" She asked, changing a bit her stance, as if she was ready to work.
Annalise:"They got out through a window and went to the forest, but it leads to a dead end" i said to her. A few minutes passed, and the inevitable happened, the girl was falling and the boy was holding her. "Let's see what will happen, he let her hand... to jump with her?" I said with surprise, i never imagined someone would actually die just because his friend would die too. "Save them now Maria" I demanded.
Maria:"B-both?" She asked.
Annalise:"Now!" I exclaimed and she nod, the light of the moon became brighter, and Maria dispeared.
3rd POV
(Y/N) and Chara were falling, both hugging each other to show no fear towards death, but due the tension and pression, they fainted, but it didn't made them break the hug, meanwhile a bird of prey was carefully watching them and calculating the right moment to catch them mid air.
Soon, Maria, one of the hunters of Annalise, jumped as fast as a bullet, and caught them mid air, before they could fall on the ground, the moon shines as strong as the sun and when Maria realised, she was back again at the chamber of Annalise.
Annalise:"Good my dear, put them on the bed of the second room please." She asked calmly and Maria noded, her mask prevented her to see with her eyes, but she allways say that "the only eye i need is the moon..." So no one actually saw her face, just a metal mask.
Maria put them on a bed and covered them with a blanket, they were still hugging, but Maria could see that their muscles relaxed, and probably were just resting from all that tension they just had. Maria closed the door and went back at her position as royal guard of Annalise.
Maria:"My queen, you know that the vile bloods don't work together, so why did you want this duo?" She asked bowing to her queen, vile bloods allways liked to live with each other, but the problem were on their work, they hate to work with another vile blood, so having (Y/N) and Chara to the same role on the castle was very unusual, even to Maria.
Annalise:"The girl sacrificed herself, so the boy could have a chance to live, but the boy decided to live his final moments with her. Such loyalty is something very unusual, much more when we're talking about humans, becoming vile blood would just boost their capacities, but their mind would still work with one principle, "I must protect him or her"". She finish quoting what she think of what is the mind of the kids they just saved.
Maria:"Now i understand, you don't want someone loyal to you, you want someone capable to go against our... disease." She asked, as a vile blood, she know that is inevitable to happen, lose your mind to the blood, and turn something powerful but without any sense of humanity, become a hollow blood. It happens when you abuse the power of the blood and succumb into it.
Annalise:"With their will, they might be able to regain their mind if they run mad" She said gaining a nod from Maria."Tomorow you'll show them the castle and what is their role here" She said as she got up and walked to her room, the first door, right a side the room of (Y/N) and Chara.
