Dark Lights Rain

-Three-

       Alexis chuckles walking  up to a bus station and looks down at her phone trying to see when her shift is for her second job starts.
        she finds a bench and down when she feels a tap on her shoulder “Excuse me, miss are you alexis?”

       “And may i ask who’s asking?” she says turning to face the voice looking up at him.

       “I’m James, i have some people who are wanting to meet with you, would you mind coming with me?” james says in a shy-ish voice.

     “Is it in walking distance?” Alexis asked “ I’ve seen a movie before there’s no way I'm going anywhere in a car with someone I don't know''

       James chuckled. “ So there's no way I can get you in the limo?" He smiles at you already knowing the answer. "Not a chance."  "I guess your  luckily our destination is only a few blocks away from here.” James held his hand out to her and they started walking silently.

       Soon Alexis gets tired of the silent tension and they started talking; they talked about their families and they found out how much they really had in common.

         “And Here we are the Blue Point manner.'' James says, smiling.
     
         “Manner you say? So i’m guessing the people who wanna talk aren’t said some petty thrives or low grand guys huh?” James chuckles.

           “You are right there and if you come with me you can meet them.” James holds his hand out once more and he leads her inside the huge Mansion.
          They make it to a meeting room and James knocks twice on the door. “Come in James.” Axel says blankly, james nods and looks at alexis “Here we go.” James says under his breath.

         As he opens the door to see;
                        Julia sitting on Axle's desk.
                  Elliot sitting in the chair.
        Vivian leaning against the wall.
And axel standing in the middle of the room.

       “Alexis this is Julia Rose, Elloit Parker, Vivian Blade and Axel Stone. The four most notorious mafia bosses in the city.” James says standing by the door “If you need me i’ll be outside.''
     
      With that he closed the door leaving her alone with the 4 most dangerous people known to man. 

     Alexis watches the four as Julia walks over to Vivian handing her a file.
 
         “So you're Alexis Knight;  family, as seen your parents up and left you so you got thrown in the system, stayed there until you maxed out at 18, blah… blah… blah, you're really a mystery, otherwise”

       She says walking over to axel handing him the file. “We had some of our best guys working on finding out more about you.” He looks her up and down trying to see how to push her buttons.

       “Yet we got little to nothing so how is it that someone with a background such as yours, get to have such a blank slate.”

      Alexis looks unamused at his little game he's trying to play testing the waters.
   
       “So 4 of the most dangerous people in the city really brought me here to review my shitty life with me? Because from what it seems, whatever your fishing for, you didn't find.'' 

     Axel kisses his teeth and disregards her statement. “It’s sad we couldn’t find more, but I’m sure you could fill in the gaps, right?”
       Axel says setting the file on the table. Watching her react to his words, But In Return all he gets is silence.
      “We had something to ask you, we were wondering if you’d be interested in an arrangement,” Julia says looking from Alexis to Elliot.
         “If you were to be interested, it’s a higher pay than that bar you work at now, it’s also part-time if you’d like, and you’ll have to stay here at least twice a week,”
            Elliot says to her never breaking eye contact, no matter how much he wanted too. 

         “You still Never Told me what the job was-“Alexis says walking up to Elliot.

         “And Your Speaking As If I’ve already taken this mysterious Job you have told me nothing about-“
         She walked so close to Elliot that as she started to speak into his ear he could feel her warm breath on his neck 

        “And I’m not taking a job I know nothing about.” she said simply,but coldly, sending shivers down his spine.

       “So if i don't get some details on this so called job in the next 5 seconds, i will walk out this door and you’ll never see me again. Though seeing as to how you all looked for me in the first place it seems you all need or ‘want’ me a lot more than I need you.”

      Alexis glances at axel as she spoke, Elliot’s breaths turn deep, but shallow; Axel watches her everymove taking in her every word as she tries to dominate answer out of Elliot, and they all knew he was the easiest to break.
 
      “Alright, time's up, Parker, just tell me what the job is or I am leaving.” Elliot shutters as she harshly whispered in his ear.

       She steps back and looks him up and down, and starts to walk for the door.“Such a waste of-”
       
        “M-maid…” elliot utters under his breath, looking down to the floor.

       “What was that Parker?” alexis says walking back towards him.
 
       “Speak up.”  “T-the job is Maid, or housekeeper, Cook breakfast, wake us up in the morning, if we are here and clean the house after every night.”

       Elloit says keeping his head down. “So you guys would pay me that much just to clean?” Elliot and Julia nod to confirm.
   
       “Im sure there's much more to it, but Fine, I’ll stay tuesday and thursday, other days i’ll only come after my shirt at the bar, and whatever wages you had for me double them.”

        Julia looks at her in shock. “You want the job?” Alexis turns to her. “All i said was i wanted to know what the job was, never that i wouldn’t take it."
