The morning after he defended the village from the Kobolds, Thomas found himself back in his room. He was about to ask himself what happened until the door to it flung open and a certain woman dashed right in.

"Oh, my son! Finally, you're awake!"

"Mum?!"

"Oh hush now sweetie. I'm so proud of you! I heard about everything, especially how you took down all those Kobolds alone!"

"A-alone?" Thomas uttered in confusion. "Mum, I had..."

"Easy now Thomas. You must be tired from that fight."

"I guess there is no getting through to her." He then thought to himself as he sighed. "Ah well, I should probably be excited about this. I used a Sword-Spell from Diamond's Last Breath! And a powerful one at that! Though it did knock a lot of my strength and mana out I managed to perform it and so with practice, Charging Flight and every other Sword-Spell from the book will be part of my arsenal in terms of combat! Even so, I think it'd be better if I don't reveal it until I've mastered all of them."

That was the decision that he settled with or at least the one that he would follow through on after getting some much-needed rest.

Over on the eastern outskirts of the Villiage, another house about the same size as the Billinton's stood. The girl, who now had her cloak off shifted and shuffled uncomfortably as a bad dream plagued her thoughts.

"Thomas! Wait! Please!"

"Who are you? I don't remember you. How do you know my name?"

"Thomas!" She then cried out in panic as she sprung up to find herself in her bed. "Darn it." She then began to sob as footsteps that she knew echoed throughout the hallway.

"Lady?! Oh gosh! Did you have another bad dream, sweetheart?"

"Yes."

The man who was no older than Howard sat down next to his daughter as she cried uncontrollably.

"I miss him! I miss, Thomas so much!"

"I know." The man replied again. "I'm so sorry, Lady. I want to do something about it, but I don't know what. Argh! If only I knew how to get in contact with his family, perhaps we can find out where he is."

"Yeah, like that's possible." But the only one who heard was herself.

After getting dressed and putting on her usual cloak, Lady headed out towards the west where a friend from an academy that she went to after moving to Sodor lived. Being a famous 10-ten champion for the Vicarstown challenge for the rapier sector, Lady normally kept her identity hidden beneath a cloak for she wasn't too keen on being surrounded by fans, especially those who wanted to date her just for how beautiful she looked. Arriving at the place, she promptly knocked on the door and it wasn't long until a girl of the age of 16 who was dressed in emerald opened it.

"Lady! Hi!" She exclaimed.

"Hi, Emily," Lady replied. Emily Stirling was very close to Lady and was even given permission to use the nickname that Thomas and her father affectionately gave her. As Lady forced up a smile, Emily noticed the sad shine in her eyes and saw through the facade straight away.

"Come on in, Lady. We'll talk in my room privately."

"Okay."

Lady followed her friend inside and was instantly greeted by Emily's parents. Upon entering her friend's room, Lady decided to let all lose.

"I've been continuously getting nightmares of my childhood friend forgetting me again. I try not to let it affect me, but, hearing Thomas's voice still rings in my mind."
