Chapter 3

Few months later...

I woked up from my afternoon nap, I was alone at my cell, I guess the girls are outside.

I stood up from my bed, I looked at the mirror, and there was me, my hair tied as a messy bun, bags under my eyes, and green bloodshot eyes.

Yes, I have been crying, again.

I took out the bun out of my hair, and it made my hair wavy, just like my mother's. I looked at the mirror once again taking a glance from my self.

I smiled.

I went back to my bed, look at the wall beside it, it was a picture of me and Eleanor. I missed her, being her, she still call me everyday even if I'm jail. That's one true best friend there.

I heard the cell gate opened, I looked back and there were my friends, they stood happily. I smiled.

"Hey Mavis!" Allison greeted.

"Hi!" I smiled.

"Were going to the Bible club, would you like to join us?" Jade invited me with encouragement.

"For the infinite time Jade, I'm not going there." I huffed. I really hated attending club meetings, even boring seminaries, even if I would attend that, I will end up sleeping and drooling.

"Please Mavis! It's fun! You get to meet great people, especially Mrs. Knights! She preaches the word of God and teaches you how to accept Jesus in your heart!" Brittany begged with her puppy eyes.

"I said no." My voice became stern yet lazy. "Please?" They begged again, with puppy eyes.

"No."

"K fine, meet you at dinner." They replied together, yet they sound annoyed. I took a deep sigh. I realized I hated being alone again, maybe one session won't be that bad. So I stood up and chased them.

"Wait! I'm going with you!" I ran as fastly as I could to walk with them

Well this was boring. I regretted going here. This club was composed of old women and men, and people who were in their mid-twenties, and probably teen hipsters. Just pure boringness.

In any second I was going to sleep. My eyes were closing slowly. Until I felt someone nudging me.

"We are here to listen, not to sleep." Jade hissed.

I crossed my arms as this old lady sharing her experience. As she was done, Mrs. Knights spoke, "So anyone wanted to share any stories?"

My friends stared at me, and smiled cheekily. They nodded each other. "Mavis would like to." Brittany said, my eyes widened and gave her a death glare.

"Well go on Mavis." Mrs. Knight said.

"No." I protested.

"Go on, don't be shy." Mrs Knights beg. It was kinda weird because people were staring at me blankly, so I was being forced to speak.

I took a deep sigh. "Well you guys probably know why I am here, because I just murdered people." I said in a 'duh' tone clumsily. "But don't know what's the reason yet right?" They nodded. "You know, my life is just a piece of shit, for in fact, I am just another female douche bag."

"Yet I just really don't get why people make fun of others, you know, bully. I was bullied, they I got kicked out. And I only blame one person, and probably he's out there and God only knows. But if I had an opportunity to get out of this place, I would take the biggest opportunity to kill him. I just really hate him." All people in the room gave me awkward glances.
