we are all here in the shallowswhere strange creatures live in sea
and the arid water tries
tries grab us by our feet
and the ray of sun i see
has shined it's last light on me
it lits up mossy sunken statues
which lived for eternities
i stand here, new orleans harbor
i see my reflection clear,
bare-feet on the wooden docks,
in the liquid atmosphere
and i ask you "hey there, tiger,
do you want to go and jump?"
put some weighs around our legs?
let our heads get sweetly numb?
all i live for is my lipstick
golden package, cherry red
so i can do what i wanna
without having my regrets
but it's just for my desire
that i'm doing all of this
one thing rather than tar death
is my purple mermaid-wish
so i put on my mascara
and i kiss the sailors swift
until i jump for gold and glory
off the grey and bloody cliffs
